Perfect place for a perfectly peaceful vacation!
If you are looking at renting this house for your stay in Dunedin, please do this:
Immediately stop reading my review and go to the calendar and book it!
Ok, are you back now? Good. I will tell you why you will want to stay here.
First of all, this is a very charming Florida home. The photos above don’t do it justice. It’s cozy, roomy, and comfortable and you will immediately be thinking of ways to stay longer. Trust me. It’s just what you are looking for, if you don’t need to be right by the beach (and all the traffic that accompanies that) and are looking for.
Its location just a few blocks from the Dunedin golf course makes it a great spot for you if hitting the little white ball is your thing. Located in a very quiet neighborhood, with wide streets for walking (or riding the two bikes provided the garage), you will be able to enjoy the area in at a slower pace when you want to do so.
If you pull out some lawn chairs from the garage, you can enjoy the backyard, which is like your own small park, with privacy from many trees and bushes, birds aplenty, and a view of the blue, blue sky.
With three-plus bedrooms, including one with a king bed and its own bathroom and another with a queen bed, there’s sleeping room for the whole family. The living room and dining room give you more space to spread out, and the thoroughly modern kitchen has all you need for small or bigger meals.
Flat screen TV? Check. Wireless internet? Check. DVR in case you need to record that favorite program off of the many cable channels available? Double check.
A few more reasons to stay: Just 15 minutes away via a leisurely walk (or 2 minutes by car) on Bayshore Boulevard is the Covered Bridge Café. The prices seem like they are out of the 1970s! Breakfast all day, honest, filling food and good coffee. Everyone will like it, even your food snob cousin (even though he might not admit it!).
Other restaurants are close by north in Palm Harbor, or south in the quaint town of Dunedin. You won’t run out of places to eat (or drink). And if your Florida weakness for Key Lime pie is the same as mine, be sure to head up the road for JJ Gandy’s and buy a pie or perhaps some Key Lime cookies. Addicting!
And you can shop at the Publix market just up the highway and around the corner for all you need to stock the pantry and fridge, saving a few bucks on the food bill by dining in.
So go ahead and book it. You won't be disappointed!
