Lovely, modern log cabin, very sunny and with great views. Sits on over 2 private acres of forest with direct frontage on Twin Lake (an inland lake), just east of Hilton Beach on beautiful St. Joseph Island. This wonderful lakeside cottage has a spacious modern kitchen, two decks, natural stone fireplace, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and game room with ping-pong table and electronic dart board. Also includes two kayaks and a canoe w/ dock, a fire ring, and parking for three cars. All less than 10 minutes from the grocery store, restaurants and the harbor in Hilton Beach. 45 minutes from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. 3 bedrooms, sleeps 8 max. NO smoking. Pets negotiable. Four night minimum.

My family and I have enjoyed our stay immensely the last 3 summer's and highly recommend it for whatever type of vacation you are looking forward to. We have been spending vacation on this beautiful Island for over 50 years and I guarantee you will not find a better rental. If you are looking for a family trip this is perfect. The washer & dryer are a real plus! The views from the upperdeck, kitchen and living room are exquisite and what you see in the pictures are exactly how it looks and it is CLEAN! I recommend it 100% for anyone looking to create memories to last a lifetime!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

What a perfect place for a perfect family vacation. Our family can't stop talking about the wonderful time they had! It was just as wonderful as when we were all here in July 2010. The Sundbergs have made their cottage a perfect place for family to gather and make memories.

We had an amazing time at your cottage. It is so homey and comfortable. We really enjoyed admiring your style of decorating and would love to see it at Christmas. We saw plenty of deer and a black bear cub which was really exciting to see. We hope we have an opportunity to stay again.

Saw a deer swim across the lake!
