HIGHLY Recommend this condo!! johnsmom (college station, tx, usa) Review submitted: March 29, 2011 Date of arrival: March 25, 2011 The condo and complex were exactly as described online--and we enjoyed all of it! We are a family of 4, with 2 kids under the ages of 6. They were in awe of the view of the ocean and we ALL enjoyed sitting on the balcony together and watching the coast. The sleeping accommodations were perfect for us. Each of the kids had a separate place to sleep and relax. The kitchen was perfectly adequate--there was a stove, microwave, freezer, and fridge. The location of the condo was GREAT! Just west of where the strip tends to get crowded, and the beach really is right across the street. There was a heated pool right downstairs from the condo that was so fantastic when the wind was a little chilly early in the day. We are already checking our calendars to find time for another trip. I HIGHLY recommend this condo.

I want to express my sincere thanks to the owner of this property. We arrived at the condo on Sunday afternoon and everything was in order as expected. We had no problem getting into the condo and was greatly surprised of the accommodations. We were greeted by the staff at the Victorian office where we received our parking pass for our stay. The condo view was exactly as shown on the picture. We had ample room for our family and all necessities were available for our stay. I would highly recommend anyone to contact the owner regarding their stay at Galveston and enjoy the accommodations as my family enjoyed.

We stayed there for a get away before school started back. We followed the instructions and had no problems getting parking pass and into the unit. The unit is very clean, nice furnishings, ample sleeping spaces. The closet in the master bedroom was large enough for us to store our stuff. We used the towels and there was laundry soap so we could wash them for use later. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed everything about it. The owner was very quick to reply to any questions I sent via email, and always was available by phone when I had questions during the booking process. It was perfect accomodations for the price and have already recommended this condo to friends. The pools were great and the Victorian was great about getting guests out so the guest that wanted quiet nights could enjoy them. While we were in Galveston we enjoyed the easy access to the beach (right across the street with a crosswalk), visiting the Strand, and a restaraunt that has great fried seafood, Shrimp and Stuff. All in all, this was a great get away and we will stay here again. Thanks for letting us rent your condo!

My family and I checked in on 6th of March and departed on 10th March, our first time to Galveston since we live in the north and was curious as what all of the talk was about in the south. Much to my surprise I was pleasently pleased with the condo I booked on line, the picture were exactly what the place looked like if not better. The condo was beautiful very warm feel to it I could tell the owner takes extra care and has a personal feel. Location was excellent the beach was right across the street as promissed, dining was great found many local places we just dont get this kind of food where we live. We found ourselves strolling on the beach in the eveings or sitting on the balcony which overlooks the pool and the Gulf. People are very friendly in Galveston prices are affordable and I found our NEW vacation spot! Thanks so much for letting us stay in your condo April we will be back! Nancy from the North

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent annual Galveston vacation, and it was nice being able to stay somewhere roomier than a hotel, but without costing an arm and a leg. Our most favorite part of our entire stay this year was Pleasure Pier, and we will definitely go again next time we are in Galveston. The bed in the Master Bedroom was extremely comfortable, and probably the best I've ever slept while on vacation. It does take up most of the room, so be careful maneuvering your way around the bed to get to the closet; the only storage space in the condo.The sofa bed seemed to be pretty comfortable, and was our kids' preferred sleeping spot over the hallway bunk beds.The kitchen is small, but adequate. Definitely beats only having a mini-fridge, and microwave, that's for sure! Although the fridge isn't full sized, it was plenty big enough for the few days worth of cold foods we needed for our stay. The "freezer" isn't very big at all, so I wouldn't plan on storing much frozen food. Be sure to check the temperature gauge knob inside the fridge at check-in, and be sure to turn it up higher (6-7 max) to keep your food cold. WiFi signal was great, and I was able to connect not only on the balcony, but also from within the condo. You'll need to call the front desk for the Guest Passcode for internet use. The pools are very nice, and our kids really enjoyed the pool targeted more towards smaller kids. The pool closer to the condo starts off at 3 ft. 6 in., and was a bit too deep for our 6 and 7 year olds. I definitely recommend this condo if you're looking for an affordable accommodation that offers a little more space than your typical hotel room.

This place was just what I was looking for. Our 4 yr granddaughter did not like the beach much, but loved the "Mushroom Pool". The 7 yr old like it all!! We had breakfast on our balcony each morning,site seeing,shopping and of course swimming, by bed time the girls where asleep before I could turn the lights out. This place is 5 stars for us.. great location! the condo was exactly as described and very comfortable. close to the 'pier' (a large amusement park), the waterpark, and across the street from the ocean. april is super! i had to contact her twice and she answered her phone and answered my questions. look forward to another stay soon, i hope.
