A lovely stylish dining area with panorama windows is ideal for dinner parties. From this large open plan living room guests can access through the French doors onto a south facing terrace which has an idyllic view of lake Como and surrounding mountains. The terrace has teak garden funitures with a BBQ and there is also a separate BBQ at the lower garden level.

A charming feature point of the room is a large wood burning stove which creates a wonderful atmosphere in the colder months. Ample logs are provided during your stay.

Inside once more and adjacent to the lovely dining area, is a modern fully fitted kitchen with breakfast table and featuring a gas hob, eye-level oven, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

Also at ground floor level are three spacious and well lit double bedrooms each with French windows onto the garden or terrace outside. There is a modern shower room with laundry facilities including automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. A large family bathroom with a jacuzzi is adjacent to the bedrooms.

Leading from the ground floor living room a flight of stairs leads to an open mansard level with single bedroom area. In addition there is a single bed at the mezzanine level above one of the double bedrooms. All these bedrooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated and furnished with added luxuries such as air-conditioning which is also available in the villa’s principal room.

Local restaurants to try in the area include the Country style Agro-turismo of La Barcola, the town’s family friendly Red Bay and Griante’s Villa Linda, the romantic and contemporary Italian Crotto dei Platani in Brienno and the modern La Piazzetta in Argegno. For a local fish menu Paolo Restaurant in Menaggio and La Baia in Cremia are very good.

From Menaggio guests can also enjoy local activities including golf, trekking, cycling, sailing, tennis, horse riding, chartered yacht hire and water sports.

The transport links are very good with a frequent Lake Bus service to Lake Como and Lugano, a car and passenger Ferry service, a local taxi rank and a seasonal Bergamo airport shuttle bus operating from Menaggio. A train service to Milan and Malpensa operates from Como city.

Three of the four bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TVs again providing an all UK TV programs and the other bedroom has a Hi Fi system. One of the mezzanine bedrooms has a TV/DVD player.

Also at basement level is a luxurious home cinema with a 47' plasma screen, surround sound, a blu ray DVD player and full free Sat UK TV and radio programmes. Villa Caberio also has a well equipped gym with treadmill, several exercise training machines and an adjacent sauna.

Several parking places can be found in the private road opposite the villa.
