Loved the atmosphere and facilities at this property! Plenty of room for all of our grandchildren and our guests. Pool was always warm and welcoming, the dock behind the property for our boat was handy, and neighbors at the complex were helpful and friendly. This is truly a boater's paradise facility for ease of docking and visiting some of the barrier islands in the area such as Cayo Costa, Captiva, Cabbage Key, and Don Pedro. Having an elevator proved helpful for loading and unloading a month's worth of "stuff". The storage under the unit was great for bikes, sand toys, and boating gear. Plenty of restaurants and beaches in the area, but we enjoyed the quiet and laid-back atmosphere of Gasparilla Island the most. Local restaurants proved excellent, and nature abounds. We saw dolphins almost every day as well as manatees and countless birds. Fishing from the shore or boat was rewarding for everyone, even the grandchildren. No hustle and bustle here! This is our second year at this property (although a different owner's unit), and we plan to return next year. If you're looking for a beautiful beach and gulf vacation without the hectic problems of traffic and crowds, this is the area for you!

This unit was everything we needed and more. It was close to the beach in Boca Grande and near some great bike pathes. The beds & linens were the most comfortable we have ever had in a rental. The galley kitchen was a little tight for cooking, but there were some really good resturants nearby. The Fishery had great fresh seafood and we enjoyed breakfast at the Waterside Grill. We also had Sunday brunch at the Zydeco Grill, food was good and they had live music. The grounds and pool were beautiful and well cared for.The unit had a wifi connection,TVs in every room, plenty of towels, a washer & dryer, wine cooler, a place to lock up our bikes downstairs, and plenty of space. Our friends golfed at the Rotunda public course(highly recommended), rented kayaks and biked in many of the areas. Next visit will rent a boat at the marina next door and explore some by water.
