This house has truly majestic views from both upper and lower decks. The house has plenty of space all four bedrooms are nice and spacious. The views from master bed and other rooms is great. Upstairs area is great for dining and has a great view from inside. Kitchen was really good and fully equipped we specially liked the wide selection of glasses for us scotch drinkers. Kitchen had every utensil and crockery you will need to cook and feed 12-16 people. Beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. The swings on lower deck need some adjustment may not be centered right and squeak quite a bit but are still fun to use, lower deck may use some outdoor chairs. The lower area with game room is awesome had a pool table which can be used as ping pong table too. The area has a bar space with a small refrigerator. We spent a lot of time downstairs playing pool and pingpong and watching TV. The Ping pong table net is very hard to attach though as screws did not work but we improvised, carry your own paddles as the one there are worn out. Pool table is good though. There is blue ray player on each level. The players are connected to internet so you can use your netflix, VUDU account we used netflix quite a lot very nice feature. Upstairs even had good range binoculars with tripod to enjoy the view and a guitar if you want to play. We took a shuttle to Sugar loaf mountain and hiked enjoyed it. Overall a great experience and i will highly recommend this place.

What an incredible vacation home. Most five star resorts could not come close. We spent the days enjoying FFB and spent the nights playing pool and ping pong and watching movies. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Spring break family get together

My family was coming down from cities up North for the Easter break. We wanted to show them all the best that North Central Arkansas has to offer and have room for everyone to hang out together. The pictures of this home do not do it justice. The views are extraordinary. My family was very impressed with the home and the views!! The kids were so excited to learn that they were climbing to the top of the mountain they had been looking at for 3 days. There is everything you would need to cook and have meals together. The cook has a great view from the kitchen as well. The home is perfect for several families since some of the rooms are downstairs if anyone needs quite. Plenty of room for up to 4 families and privacy for each. You have to climb Sugarloaf Mountain and visit Mountain View and Blanchard Springs Caverns. We did not eat out because the kitchen was so easy to cook in, the view was better than any restaurant, and the home was so comfortable.
The one negative of the property is the height of the porches and the sloping landscape. We had 7 children under the age of 9 and the extreme sloping terrain and height of the outside porches was a constant point of worry for us. Also there was no place for the kids to get out and run around if they want to play outside. Although after a couple of days we all got used to it. The views would not be as spectacular if the property was located somewhere else. Possibly the best view in the area!!!

The height of our decks is obviously one of the reasons the view is so spectacular but it is also something that should be considered with small kids, especially if they outnumber the grownups. We chose Farifield Bay to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. The home was perfect, accomodating my folks, all of my sibs and their families. A lovely home in a lovely setting! The kitchen was well equipped, (better than any we've ever rented!), the beds comfortable and there was plenty to keep the kids entertained. The weather was perfect so we spent time out on the deck enjoying the view, walked down to play a couple of rounds of putt putt, swam and had great fun renting a boat with a slide! We couldn't have had a better family vacation. It was truly a wonderful experience.

Your house is AMAZING and so nice. The view is spectacular and the layout of the house is perfect - the pictures don't do it justice. It was so peaceful for us to enjoy coffee each morning on the deck and then again at evening. We had several families staying together and we had a bedroom for each family and a bed for everyone (16 of us). The house was well equipped for everything and laid out perfectly for a family vacation.
The gameroom downstairs was a great hangout for the tweens and teens in our group. They spent many evenings playing games and watching movies. There was plenty of room for them to spreadout downstairs and plenty of space for the adults upstairs. We went on several hikes and played golf at the resort. We will definitely be booking this house again.

A Beautiful Getaway

My wife and I would recommend this place to anyone. It was great for just the two of us but had plenty of space if we brought our kids. We loved the view from the huge back deck. As it got cooler, we went inside and still had the great view because of the massive windows that line the back wall. It was convenient to groceries, restaurants, and the marina. Runners and hikers will love the nearby wooded trails and sidewalks.
Very clean and well-maintained. Owners were very helpful and quick to respond. We will come back.
