I was born and raised within blocks of my townhome and even though I live far away with my husband and family, I bought my little piece of home to visit whenever I can.

Why Bonnie Ruenholl chose Omaha

Because it's right on top of where the old Caniglia Steak House used to be - a Omaha landmark. Was owned and run by my family. When I come to Omaha, I'm home at my townhome.

Great Gathering Spot

Our family gathered at this home over the holidays. We wanted a place for the six of us to sleep, plus accommodate gatherings with friends and family from the area each evening, and this home worked wonderfully for that. This is a more newly listed property, and working with the property manager was great (she also owns a property in the area should you need to accommodate more people - you could rent both and have, I think, six bedrooms).

We had previously stayed in this area and wanted to do so again. It is very convenient to the Old Market area, which we love. And the pizza from Orsi's (a half block from this home) is amazing!

The house itself was nice. It is a newer rental, and the owner is still working on some of the furnishings - primarily the living room where the seating is not real comfortable. This did not hinder us as we typically congregated in the kitchen to eat, drink, play games, and converse anyway. Plus the property had two full bathrooms and a one car garage - great to put a car inside in the winter.

We enjoyed our stay in this home, and we would recommend it. We will definitely consider staying here again should we be in Omaha.

We also want everyone to know that in response to Steve's comment about the living room not being real comfortable for family gathering - a new sectional has been purchased for the living room. Other updates are in the works as well and the photos have been updated. Thanks Bonnie the property manager.
