Beautiful, newer (6 years) 3 story, 1,800 ft2 condo at Schweitzer Mountain. 3+ Bedrooms (plus additional queen sofa bed in den), 2.5 baths. Additional den is great for keeping kids entertained. Comfortably sleeps 8 - 12. Large, king bed in master suite with walk-in closet, Beautiful Queen guest room, and two sets of single-over-twin bunk beds in 'bunk room'. We are original owners and provided all furnishings and amenities for ourselves and 4 children including: Granite countertops throughout, pre-wired sound system throughout condo, 3 flat screen TV's, Cable TV, Wi-Fi Internet,stereo, DVD player, CD changer, iPod docking station, CD video library, Bar, Gas fireplace, 2 car-heated garage with ski/board racks, propane BBQ on private deck. The kitchen has gas range, quality owner-type cookware (as opposed to rental) including waffle iron, coffee maker, crock pot, blender, etc.

Rental includes 1 day of a fully transferrable ski pass able to be used by more than 1 person (just not at same time). One person can can ski morning, someone else in the afternoon. Additional days are available for just $50/day, saving $18.

This has been our family ski condo and have spent the last 5 Christmases all together here. Now that all 4 our children have left home, we made the decision Nov. 2, 2012 to let others start building their memories as we have (plus my wife wants to go somewhere warm!), so as of Nov. 2, it is still available for Christmas, New Year's and all other holidays.

My wife and I moved our family to Hayden Lake, ID from San Diego almost 20 years. Hayden Lake is just a little over an hour South of Schweitzer Mountain and we fell in love with Schweitzer Mountain and Sandpoint. We have 4 children that are all active skiers/snowboarders and Schweitzer has always been our favorite mountain, anywhere! We wanted a true second home and this condo was perfect. We chose this condo while it was still being framed and, in terms of creating great family memories, it was the best investment we ever could have made. Since the first year we purchased it, we've spent every Thanksgiving and Christmas together with our children, and now 6 grandchildren.

We've never rented to the public before, but since our children are all out of the house now, my wife and I decided that we'd like to spend some of the winter in warmer climates. We'd love to have you start to build the memories that we have!

Why Dan Baker chose Schweitzer Mountain Resort

Our home is close enough to the runs that we can choose to ski all day, just take a few runs here and there, stop back in for lunch or watch a movie with the grandkids. Our favorite restaurant, St Bernard's, is just a couple hundred yards away. The Chapel is just past St. Bernard's. The Village is within walking distance with the Resort, shops and restaurants. The Village has a great Activity Center for children and adults, with Hermit's Hollow Tubing, Zip Line, ski-school, free afternoon matinees during ski-season, sledding, horseback riding and more. Santa even visits our Condo on Christmas Eve on the mountain's Firetruck!

We were only the second family to rent this beautiful condo, and would definitely stay here again. The kitchen was fully equipped, and its table provided many hours of fun filled game playing. We ran into a few snags, first of which was getting to it. We needed our chains to get up the drive. Our son is a computer technician, and could not keep the IPhone internet connection going. The owner is fixing the freezer that gave out on us the first day,but started working again the 4th day. The hide-a-bed in the den was too uncomfortable to sleep on, so the couches got some bedtime use. However, the living room setup with its very comfortable couches is perfect for watching movies, and just plain relaxing. All in all the family had a great time. By the way, did I mention that our group's veteran skiers loved this mountain?
