This large three story 1918 craftsman located on a quiet corner lot was completely restored in the 1st quarter of 2013. The home consists of 2 units this listing is advertising the 3 bedroom unit.

Enjoy the great location minutes away from central Fremont, Green Lake, the University of Washington, downtown Seattle, the Washington State Convention Center, Pike Place Market, Seattle Center and the Elliott Bay waterfront. Plenty of parking is right outside the door and direct access via car or city bus to downtown Seattle and Sea Tac International airport via highway 99 close by.

It feels just like home! The main floor has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, tiled bath with full tub and shower, formal living room with brick fireplace, formal dining room with table seating for 8 and new designer kitchen.

The lower floor has a large bedroom with king size bed and private bath, a full size laundry and large media room. In the media room you will enjoy satellite DirectTV displayed on our new 47' LED high definition television with Blu-ray DVD. Two comfortable couches, one a double sleeper sofa and easy chair with ottoman complete the furnished settings.

The large private outdoor patio is easily accessed from the main kitchen and lower level. It has a stainless steel gas barbeque, table and cushioned chairs for 8. Plenty of morning sunlight then shade in the mid afternoon just perfect for our warm days in the summer and fall. Plenty of indoor and outdoor living space for this great house!

If you wish to explore the neighborhood walk to the Zoo and the rose garden. Get tickets for the Zoo Tunes summer concert series held outdoors on the grounds featuring headline musical artists the entire family will enjoy. It is just 2 blocks away! Walk, jog or bike to popular Green Lake bordering the 2 square mile Woodland Park recreation area with its many forested trails, tennis courts, soccer fields, public swimming areas and basketball courts. Experience many local restaurants, shops, markets and places of interest in Fremont. Take in the great views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound while walking along Phinney Ridge. The University Of Washington, is 3 miles directly east on 50th. Take your car or local city bus to the campus. The transit stop is two blocks away.

I live nearby in a 1907 craftsman home which I recently restored in the historic Leschi neighborhood of Seattle.

Wonderful house - would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seattle. There were 4 of us (two individuals, one couple) staying in the house for a wedding we were attending. We used all three bedrooms and all of us slept wonderfully.

The location was perfect and the neighborhood/neighbors were lovely. The zoo is within walking distance, we could get to downtown areas in about 10 minutes, the locks in about 10 minutes, and within 1/2 an hour we could be in the rural farm areas to the northeast. The owner left a list of nearby restaurants, coffee shops and grocery markets. We visited most of them.

The house itself was exactly as described. The photos are accurate and the property was far cleaner than any hotel we ever stayed in. The owner was extremely helpful before and during our stay.

This experience has convinced us to never stay in a hotel again. Being in a home in a nice neighborhood was lovely, gave us so much more freedom to hang out with friends, and save money by cooking for ourselves as much as we felt like. We saved a great deal of money by staying in a house rather than three separate hotel rooms.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

This home is great. It is decorated very well and has great appliances. It was completely remodeled and painted. Everything is brand new. It has a great front porch for lounging. The neighborhood is a family neighborhood with lots of trees and plants lining the street. I did not stay in the home, I live across the street and took a tour of the home. :-)
