Firstly, here is a link, which you will need to copy and paste to your browser, to a 3D Virtual Tour of our apartment - http://www.vrbo.com/global/siteFrame.aspx?l=442317&k=2
In a traditional Ile St Louis building (like this one, very few have lifts but the beautiful wooden and iron stairs is typical), the apartment is on the third floor above Monsieur Lefranc’s cremerie and Madame Martin’s boulangerie. The chimes of the church of Ile St Louis’s bells from can be heard from across the street through the 3 south facing windows.
Beautifully but simply decorated and furnished to highlight its traditional features, this renovated 30m2 studio has style and character. It consists of a large living room and a smart, well equipped, kitchen with breakfast counter and stools. A very high quality sofa bed provides the same comfort as a normal double bed. The modern bathroom has an excellent shower. If you want to work or just check your emails, there is a stylish console desk and afterwards you can flop in the cool, orange Fatboy (very large beanbag!).
Above all this apartment offers great value for money for it's standard of accommodation and brilliant location.
Bonjour tout le monde (hello everybody),
Je m’appel (my name is) Liam (Guillaume en Francais) and I am the owner of this apartment we call LOUIS02. I am Irish and live with my family in Dublin, but my work takes us regularly to Paris and I love to immerse myself in the city’s daily life.
Staying in a traditional apartment as opposed to a hotel, even for a short stay, has always enabled us to get the most from our visits to Paris. This encouraged us to buy several studios on the wonderful Ile St Louis.
In my Blog for which i can send you a link, I share my own and my family's time and experiences in Paris to provide useful news and information for business and leisure travellers to the City of Lights.
You can also consult Feedback provided by previous guests and, when you have stayed in one of our apartments, provide your own feedback either directly to the Blog or by contacting me.
I look forward to doing my best to answer any of your questions about Paris and our apartments.
A bientot (see you soon),
2-person studio with timber beams, south facing French windows, minimalist decoration and furnishings and a smart kitchen corner. Great location, great price.
Wake up to the sound of the early morning church bells, stand at the French window looking across at the clock tower and realise you are on a little island in the Seine in the heart of Paris, then pop downstairs to Madame Martins' boulangerie for a baguette or croissant to have with your cafe ....
