Hana House Rental Photos and Description
House, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

This is an extremely private Hana Maui, vacation cottage with ocean and mountain views. Anyashouse is a fully equipped one bedroom, private, secluded home, on an organic fruit farm. It is tucked away on the slopes of Haleakala Crater and one mile from Haleakala National Park near Hana. It is a tropical haven from our fast-paced world, which I share with a lucky few. Come enjoy Paradise 'Hawaiian style.'

BEST PART OF VACATION

This house was the highlight of our two week vacation. Our three night visit went way too fast and we were sad to go. Next time, and there will be a next time, we will stay longer. The house was very clean and appointed with interesting pieces of art work giving it an eclectic personal and creative flair. The photos don't do justice to the house or surrounding property. The view is incredible with a wrap around wide deck and 180 degrees of sliding glass affording a beautiful view, lots of sunshine and amazing serenity and atmosphere. This is a home, not a rental. The interior construction seems to be based architecturally on a traditional Hawaiian style with beams and supporting poles of natural wood. The kitchen was very well appointed and large and the bed was very very comfortable with a view of the water; perfect in the morning with a cup of coffee. Anya was very nice! A beautiful basket of tropical fruit awaited our arrival and she called to make sure everything was alright and that we had arrived safely. The house is off the grid and green, so being mindful of energy waste is important. We never had a problem though. We did the sightseeing at that end of the island but preferred to just stay put and enjoy where we were. No need to go anywhere- this is NOT a place just to spend the night after a day out. THE PROPERTY WAS BEAUIFUL!!!!!!; Acres of flowers and fruit trees over looking the ocean. The home is totally secluded and private on multiple acreage, We are private people that don't like crowds and seek out of the way places in natural settings. This was a perfect heaven! Bathing by full moonlight in the outdoor Victorian bathtub with the waving palm trees and gentle breeze will be a memory I will never forget. Trust me! And I could go on and on....

This cottage is amazing! Private, spacious, beautiful surroundings with an outdoor shower! The pictures don't do it justice! The living area has lots of room. The kitchen has lots of counter space to work at and is easy to move around. The bed is comfortable.
You are on solar power, so no TV (except to play DVDs) and no hair dryers. But who wants to watch TV when you have all of this nature surrounding you! There is even a compost bucket (and bin out back) to use, so you are really "off the grid"!
The view is outstanding. On a clear day (which we didn't have) you should be able to see the volcanoes on the Big Island! And the landscaping is wonderful! Anya works hard to maintain this paradise. And if you are lucky there will be fresh fruit; bananas, papayas, avocadoes...
This cottage is beyond Hana, beyond 'Ohe'o Gulch and the Pipiwai Trail, just before Lindbergh's grave. It is off the main road less than a mile and was a bit tricky to get to the first time, but it is manageable with a compact car. The road from Hana to the cottage is a bit trickier with one lane bridges and switchbacks than the road to Hana from Kahului. But it is worth the drive.
We would come back again and again. The 7 Sacred pools, the Pipiwai trail, Hamoa beach are all worthwhile visiting, or just relax and enjoy the cottage. You won't regret it!
