Marais, place des Vosges, 1 BR with the best city location

Place for 2-4 persons, refurbished in a typical 18th century Parisian Building with old tiled floor and enough space to be very comfortable for a family or with friends (about 400 square feet).

The building is in the most animated quarter of Paris. The place itself is located in a totally quiet environment overlooking a garden and 2 big patios.

Bright, well furnished, refurbished and very charming, this place is a great spot to feel the city and do everything by walking.

The location is amazing only seconds from the wonderful place des Vosges. This is the real 'Marais', not what a lot of owners are calling Marais while their property is near place de la République in the 3rd quarter.

Available year round and located in the prettiest part of the Marais, only meters from the famous place des Vosges.

Right in the heart of Paris: Many shops and stores are close to the apartment: bakery, butchery, wines shop, supermarket, post office, pharmacy, restaurant, cafes.

The south of le Marais offers a magical ambiance and an outstanding position to discover Paris: right in the middle of everything and so close to anything, you will feel the city and your trip like nowhere else. The main street, rue des francs Bourgeois is very beautiful, with a myriad of interesting shops, boutiques, and restaurants open even on sunday.

Take the Metro and you will be in Galeries Lafayette or Le bon Marché department stores in 15 minutes. The Champs Elysée is 20 minutes away, Eiffel Tower 20 minutes away, the Concorde Place about 15 minutes away, Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur 25 minutes away. You can also go very easily by train to the Historic Versailles Castle in about 45 minutes.

I am Nicolas, married to Caroline, and a friend of the owner, helping her to manage her property. I am owning 2 other properties with the best city reviews and want to share my know how with some selected friends, owning oustanding places, in terms of location.

Great apartment in the Marais

This apartment was perfect for a 2 week stay for me, my parents and my boyfriend. It's located on a fantastic pedestrian street in the Marais, but tucked away at the back of a quiet courtyard, so there is absolutely no street noise. The apartment is bright and clean with fun modern furnishings and the most comfortable beds. The apartment layout is smart and efficient- even with four of us, we felt very comfortable in the space. Nicolas and Anne-Sophie were always quickly responsive when we had questions and very accommodating to our requests. Everything was really wonderful, couldn't recommend it higher!

Absolutely terrific location, safe, near the metro, near small shops with interesting wares, a 2-minute walk from Place des Voges, straight walk to the Pompidou Centre. You can't beat it. Friendly owner, functional apartment. The space is newly renovated and painted white, but I would expect a few more decorations are likely to be added to enhance the atmosphere. The bed/bedding was so incredibly comfortable (in the bedroom, although there is also a sofa bed) that I slept better than at home!

My husband and I stayed in this apartment during our recent honeymoon in Paris. The location was FANTASTIC! Right on Rue Des Francs Bourgeois in the heart of the Marais, and walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars, Place Des Vosges park and the metro. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of an old building that has been well maintained, and is very safe. The actual apartment is small but has everything you need - small kitchonette, washer/dryer, wifi, small tv... the decor and furniture is very simple, but clean and tidy. Future tentants should know that because the apartment is old, the interior doors do not close all the way, including the bathroom. This would have been helpful to know on our honeymoon, but we worked around it. :) Nicolas and Sophie are amazine - great communication, easy to work with, and even helped us coordinate things like transportation to the airport. All in all, a GREAT neighborhood and a comfortable place for a couple or two friends to stay.
