This landmark home sits on a large corner lot surrounded with a beautifully landscaped private hedge around the outside perimeter. Large desert trees help to create a park like setting with picnic table on raised sandstone platform in front yard. We use that area to stargaze.

My husband and I live in Tempe, Arizona and have had an insurance agency in Tempe since 1971. Doug is from Louisiana and moved out west in 1957. I was born in Phoenix, AZ and never left. We love California and go to DHS for our health and enjoyment. We love the mountains and beautiful views, especially the city lights.
We knew that Desert Hot Springs is a spa town and is famous for its natural hot mineral waters with therapeutic, healing properties. We love soaking in the waters and both feel it has helped us so much, that we decided to buy a house in this area, especially after attending the Annual Desert Hot Springs Spa Tour 2012 that is held the first weekend in February, where we found more spas we love, all close by.
We sit outside mornings and evening and watch the quail run across the street and hear so many bird songs, that it feels like being in the country. It's nice to have a large corner lot with beautiful mountain views on three side and the city lights at night.
