I really appreciated the owner's flexibility in rescheduling our visit due to an unexpected surgery. The house was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. The extra touch of leaving wine and goodies was very nice. My two boys loved the location and spent many hours playing by the creek. They have already asked my husband and me to promise to schedule another stay next year!

Wonderful Vacation at the Creekside Cabin

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation at the Creekside Cabin on Oak Creek.
This property is a jewel. It is in "like new" condition and Oak Creek runs through the edge of the property.
The beds were very comfortable and the towels were sumptuous. The bathrooms were like new and well appointed. The kitchen appliances were like new, and complemented the huge expanse of granite countertop. Within the kitchen drawers and cabinets, we found virtually every knife, peeler, strainer, opener, tong and gadget we could imagine.
The cabin was spotless and the owner responded almost instantly to the text messages we sent when we had questions.
We spent a great day in Flagstaff touring the Riordan Mansion and the Lowell Observatory (discovered Pluto). Several good days and meals in Sedona touring the Red Rocks, and the Native American Petroglyphs at the "V bar V" ranch (ask any park ranger).
We spent our last full day at the Grand Canyon, and enjoyed a nice lunch before driving home.

We loved that there were food amenities left for us. After a long day driving, the kids were famished. We also loved how clean and comfortable the home was. Additionally, we had a lot of fun passing time strolling along/in the creek in the backyard. It was a very well run property.

Get Away From It All

This home has been beautifully remodeled and it was a clean and cozy retreat for our family of five. The kids had a great time on the swing and playing in the wooded area. we cooked most of our meals in, in the very nice kitchen. Beds are super comfortable and the furnishings were up to date.
Do be aware that there is no cable TV or cell/Internet connection in this area, so be prepared to truly "get away".
