Rub shoulders with members of Congress and the Senate in one of “The Hill’s” many fine restaurants and eateries within a 2 block radius; White Tiger, La Loma Restaurant, Café Berlin, Bistro Cacao, Sonoma and Toscanas to name a few. Beautifully restored Union Station also has a large food court, several restaurants, shops, and Starbucks. Wine affectionado? Schneider’s of Capitol Hill, one of DC’s best wine stores, is also located one block from the apartment. Leave your car behind! Union Station, a transportation hub for the mid-Atlantic region, is just 2 blocks away and houses not only our trains, AMTRAK, but also the Metro Red Line, the 'Circulator' bus, MARC trains to Maryland, and buses to New York City (MegaBus, Vamoose, Bolt Bus).

“This apartment was wonderful and perfect in all ways, decorated beautifully, very clean, perfect location. Inside and out was just lovely. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. You really got the D.C. experience being there. Having a nice kitchen with all the appliances one would need was so convenient. We would spend our days exploring and some nights it was perfect to be able to make a sandwich and gear up for the next day and not have to go out for every meal. The bed and bedding was first rate, and very comfortable. The decor was cozy and very tasteful. We also had a spot to park our rented car so we spent a couple of days in the country. Although, you could spend weeks in town and never see it all. The location was perfect to walk to everything or just around the corner was the Union Station (beautiful) to catch a cab. It was easy to book. Everyone was so helpful in every way. All in all, we are a retired couple who had the perfect adventure. Thank you”

Take a few days away from the bustle of the city to explore our bucolic countryside little changed over the past 2 to 3 centuries. There is plenty to do that beckons you to leave the city for a weekend or a week.
A bit about me...I am a former Californian who, after 12 years in DC, is now an honorary Washington native. Being well traveled both domestically and internationally has given me a great appreciation for the enrichment contact with others brings to our experience. I am well-versed on the 'must-see' sights, monuments and museums of our culturally rich city, along with the unique experiences your find only in Washington. We share that insight with our guests in our property Welcome Guides which we send upon confirmation.
We very much enjoy hosting visitors to our Nation's Capital and ensuring that they are able to make the most of their visit.
