Having traveled to other Caribbean islands but never to Barbados we did our research before booking. Upon arrival at Coral Cove Apartments we immediately realized we had chosen wisely. The pure feelings of relaxation and welcoming struck us as we entered this apartment. The unit is tastefully furnished and provides an easy island style. It is truly a home away from home. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The view from the balcony is outstanding. The beach that this property sits on is the nicest stretch of beach on Paynes Bay if not the entire island (we know, we toured the island by car). This beach is perfect for swimming, provides a small reef for snorkeling and turtles are a common sight in the water. Each morning there are lounge chairs and umbrellas perfectly aligned on the beach waiting for you. It could not be easier. You spend as much time on the beach as you want with all the comforts of home directly behind you. The staff at this property could not be nicer or more helpful with any questions or concerns you may have. Dina, our house keeper, is a pure joy and kept things clean and tidy. She is a true indication of the warmth of the local people. Additional positives of this property is it's location to the local bus routes and local eating and drinking establishments. We did not rent a car for our stay and used the local buses to travel to Holetown, Speightstown and Bridgetown. The buses are economical and efficient. There is a local food grill (take away) across the street from this property on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Do not miss it. The food is fresh, delicious and affordable. Also across the street is Mr. Vic's, do not miss! His restaurant and bar are local and provide good food and great company. You will not meet a nicer man than Vic. Our vacation was outstanding because of this property and the introduction it provided us to Barbados and her beautiful people. Take advantage of this home and meet Barbados on her terms, you will be greatly rewarded! You will feel safe, secure, relaxed, welcomed, refreshed and most importantly, right at home. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to all at Coral Cove Apartments. I wish all who travel here a similar experience.

The apartment was fabulous and exceeded our expectations and was positioned conveniently by Paynes Bay beach. It is incredibly spacious, well furnished, equipped with all the necessary mod cons and the master bedroom has one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. We're used to staying in 5 star hotels and this apartment did not feel like a step down.

The owner, Simon was incredibly helpful in providing us with plenty of information prior to our arrival and has equipped the apartment with everything we needed to have a luxurious stay in Barbados.

Cheryl from the rental firm was also incredibly helpful and was always easy to get hold of to answer our questions and the housekeeper, Shontelle was also very nice and cooked the most amazing flying fish supper for us one night.

I'm your typical picky traveller--I can always find something to complain about. Accustomed to 4 Seasons, Ritz Carlton and St. Regis, I have high expectations. But this rental exceeded even my expectations. The locations is perfect--next to Sandy Lane, it has a good beach, plenty of restaurants, and superb golf courses, all within a short drive. The condo itself is pristine--modern appliances, attractive decorating, yet cozy and comfortable. Everything was kept spotless by Chantal--who was always cleaning or cooking, but worked so quietly we hardly knew she was there. Then there was the owner, Simon, who responded almost instantaneously to all our emails, providing detailed information on everything from restaurants to transporation to the best grocery stores. He even made last minute tee times for us and recommended a new course that proved to be the highlight of our trip. All in all, it was a great family memory.

The listing of this home does not do it justice! It is so much better, gorgeous accomodations. Beautiful beach, we swam twice a day and had the beach to ourselves many of those times. If you have Monica cook for you it is a real treat......she is amazing! The Island saafari was the perfect way to see the Island (Ron is a great guide). The Atlantis submarine and Harrisons cave are two attractions we highly recommend and of course there is the RUM! The home has full time security, but who needs it on an Island where everyone treats you like long lost family. The nicest people we have ever encountered. We could not get lost, total stranges came and gave us directions without being prompted. Don't forget the camera, the sunsets from the balcony are the stuff romantic movies are made of. We dream of returning. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home, it was a dream honeymoon!

I had a wonderful holiday staying in this fabulous apartment in Barbados.
The location is amazing – you go out of the back door of the building right on to Payne’s beach, one of the best beaches on the island and Sandy Lane is only a short stroll along the beach. If you go out a little from he beach with one of the boat skippers you can swim with wild turtles as we did. I could not believe how tame they were!
The apartment itself is magnificent. No expense has been spared on this luxury apartment with the furnishings and décor creating an elegant and relaxing ambiance. There are marble floors, gorgeous bathrooms, a designer kitchen with every mod con, air conditioning everywhere, satellite TV and a collection of DVD’s. The sitting room windows open right back on to the most beautiful terrace with dining and sitting areas and a Jacuzzi overlooking the Caribbean Sea. I will never forget sitting outside on balmy January evenings sipping cocktails and watching the sun go down when back home in Scotland the temperature was 18 below zero! In fact if you were not in Barbados you would not want to go out.
The owner Simon was very helpful and left information about all the local restaurants so that every meal we had was memorable. The food was good everywhere. We particularly liked Lobster Alive where you eat fresh lobster listening to a jazz band; the Fish Pot at Little Good Harbour and the newly opened Atlantis Hotel on the east coast which does an amazing Sunday Bajan buffet. We went to the Cliff, the Tides and Champers which were all in beautiful locations with great food but expensive (particularly the Cliff). We also liked Lexy’s piano bar in Holetown for live music.
I could not recommend this apartment highly enough and am looking forward to going back next year.

This was the sixth time that we have returned to Barbados and by far the best trip yet ...the accomodation is outstanding ,done to an incredibly high standard ,and in a perfect location positioned right on the beach ,and within walking distance of some of the top restaurants on the island ....cant recommend this property highly enough and dont miss out on jazz at Lobster Alive on Sunday afternoon ,it is an absolute must .
