- 1 night for stays Monday to Thursday; 2 nights for stays Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 3 nights for holiday stays; 5 nights for Christmas or New Years

- Rates are all-inclusive – high speed internet, HD cable, Netflix, in-suite laundry, stocked kitchen.

- Rates based on single, double or triple occupancy.

- $19 cleaning fee applies to all rentals. For longer stays, please inquire.

- parking is optional. A parking spot is 1/2 block away (30 second walk) and is $10 plus HST per night per vehicle. When requesting a booking, please inform us whether you want parking or not.

- Fully refundable security deposit of $300. Promptly returned within 9 days of check out.

- Monthly rates are based on 4 weeks (28 days).

This 1871 historical building has been featured on the front pages of the 'Homes' section of the Ottawa Citizen newspaper.

This home has all the amenities you would expect in an eclectic apartment in the centre of this capital city.

The place itself was nice and clean. The couch is not overly comfortable to sleep on, but it is doable. The place is on a fairly busy street and there was a lot of street noise. It was convenient to downtown, groceries and other amenities as well.

I visited Ottawa on a business trip in November 2012 and chose to stay at Catherine's condo rather than a hotel. It was an excellent decision. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and everything I could possibly need was provided. Anita looks after the building and is very hospitable and helpful. The location is perfect with plenty of local shops and a short walk done to all the action at the Bywater Markets and the Rideau shopping centre. An easy walk into downtown each day for my business meetings. Very good wifi and all the electronic gadgets you could wsh for. Can't recommend it highly enough and I'll never stay in a hotel room in Ottawa again! Terry

Owner's Response: We take great pride in how clean our condo is. Each time a guest checks out we deep clean the entire apartment, and it is inspected.
This condo is really ideal for the businessperson since it is so reasonably priced, close to business and government buildings, and allows the guests to prepare home cooked meals (if they choose) by having a well stocked kitchen and two 24-hour grocery stores just a few blocks away.

Perfect condo location

This was our second rental from the same owner. We were expecting good accommodations and we were not disappointed. The description and the photos accurately reflected the rental description. The property manager was awaiting us and was very accomodating and professional with us. We were given a tour along with explanations and her cell phone number to call if we needed anything. We stayed for five days. The car stayed in the parking lot and we were able to walk to the venues that we planned to see. The bus stop is at the front door and we made use of it on the rainy day. Restaurants, grocery stores and a bakery are within a ten minute walk. The unit is well stocked with spices, dry goods, herbs, and enough food for a couple of meals. All you need are a few dairy products and perhaps some fresh salad greens and fruit in order to prepare your meals. It is ideal after a long day of sightseeing. There was glassware, dinnerware, cutlery and pots and pans in abundance in the unit. We enjoyed our stay in this compact, well appointed unit and would certainly consider renting again in the future. Even though the unit is located on a busy street, we found it to be very quiet during our entire stay. Enjoy the sights of Ottawa without spending your time driving long distances.
