Jake and I are a dental team and travel to the arctic to provide dental services. We enjoy meeting people and traveling.
My parents owned this property and were relocated to another Indian reservation. They were both working with the BIA at Towaoc, Colorado and moved to Mescalero Apache Reservation. In 1989, Jake and I purchased the property from them. Since then we have added and remodeled our home. In 1997, we built the guest cottage and opened the Grizzly Roadhouse B&B. This summer we remodeled the cottage. I am from Santa Clara Pueblo, a direct descendent of the ancient pueblo-an culture. I feel very connected to Mesa Verde Country and am proud to call Cortez my home.
Ravens-nest is situated on the back side of Mesa Verde. We can view Mesa Verde to the east and view the Sleeping Ute to the west. We are surrounded by Mesa's and mountains. Incredible hiking and walking in our backyard. I have created a very spiritual place with shrines and meditation gardens. My native culture and spirituality is vital to my creative being. I feel it is evident in my property. Come and explore and be part of an amazing culture.
