My husband spent the first 10 years of his life on the farm and is an avid hunter who loves the country. I on the other hand, spent most of my life in the big city. In 2009, we decided to look at a ranch property for sale just outside of Saint Jo. We started out from Arlington (where we had lived since 1983) and here goes: as we dropped down into the valley, a few miles from the ranch, my husband says “Man this is perdy!” I said,
“Perdy? Perdy is Macy’s in New York City.” To make a long story short, we bought the ranch and eventually moved out there from Arlington. After becoming familiar with the area and what it has to offer, we purchased the property at 301 S. Main Street to open up to visitors wanting an escape from the hustle bustle of the city.
The location of The Saint Jo House is great for families, small groups and business travelers alike.
Being just off US Highway 82, The Saint Jo House guests have easy access to the Red River Wine Trail, Ancient Ovens Restaurant, the Highway 82 Antique shops, small and big game hunting, the Red River Motorcycle Trails and more. Great for a weekend getaway or s stop along the way to Winstar Casino.
