Wow!! Beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath. Living room with large open ceiling and lots of hand crafted twig rails and pine floor and walls and beautiful rock gas fireplace. Large kitchen crafted by European Antiques to give the home a true mountain feel complete with real wood counter tops. Dining room table ready to seat a party of ten (10). Awesome loft overlooking living room with desk area and large couch to relax while reading a great book. Large screen porch off of the living room and kitchen that overlooks the creek. A second porch on the bottom floor complete with rocking chairs and grill, and a large rock patio off of the porch with a fire pit ready for your evening marshmallow roast. A reading porch off of the master bath for your morning coffee, and, yes, we thought of that -- a coffee bar in the master bathroom. There are so many details in our mountain home that were arduously designed to give our guest the feel of the mountains and the luxury of a professional decorated home that will bring you back year after year.
I am a 47 year old business man in the metro Atlanta area that grew up visiting the North Georgia mountains and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the many activities that are just a short drive away.
Wow!! What can I say -- this was a home that We looked at in the Summer of 2011. We fell in love with the location as it is located 1/10 of a mile from Lake Burton and on a beautiful creek. It is centrally located to all the places We wonted to spend time at, such as Clayton, Hiawassee, Helen and many beautiful North Georgia towns. We purchased the property and began renovation all the way down to the studs. Over the next year plus, We hired a craftsman and began creating a mountain getaway that I am sure you will agree is second to none. Every detail was attended to and every board, rock and minute detail was designed with precision. I am sure you will agree this home has everything a mountain home should have and more.
My mountain home is unique and it has the feel of an 3-story mill house located on a creek with three (3) beautiful porches, a 800 square foot rock patio complete with a rock pit. The inside has beautiful pine floors, washed pine walls and ceilings with a twist of metal in the vault in the living room and handcrafted twig rail.
