The Master Bedroom in the loft, has a flat screen TV and a bathroom with shower. A second bedroom with a queen bed is located on the main level. Directly across the hallway there is a third bedroom with bunk beds and a full bath with a fourth bedroom and bathroom on the lower level. Experience book lover bliss in the readers chair and ottoman in the loft overlooking pines and the lake. In the spacious Great Room you can curl up next to the Fieldstone Fireplace to unwind, or play one of the dozens of games that can be found or simply catch a game or favorite show on the flat screen TV. The lower level of the lake home has an additional great room with a large sectional sofa, a 55' projection screen TV and stereo. Perfect for when the kids need their own space. Bring your favorite DVD movies, x-box and CD's or watch a DVD from our collection of over 100 movies to play on the surround sound stereo system.

The attractively landscaped yard features a stone pathway that winds it's way to a patio area and firepit overlooking the lake. We have a 30' aluminum dock on a natural shoreline. We value the beauty of the lake and don't want to contribute to run-off into the lake so we have not altered the shoreline. There is a nice sandy bottomed area with a gradual descending depth for the children to play in or for you to place your chair when the weather is warm. A canoe, 2 kayaks and a paddleboat are included so the whole family may explore the islands and cruise across the lake. A Pontoon is also available for rental. Pogo's restaurant can be reached via water as well as three other resort/bars. You can now reach another 300 acre lake via a channel.

If you need any supplies there is a great General Store located within 3 miles of the Lake Home. This store provides groceries, liquor, wine and beer, dvd rentals, fishing licenses and bait, gas, propane, and a full selection of hardware tools and supplies as well as a post office.

You won't find a more quiet or private place to relax, swim, fish and just have fun. A 1500+ acre lake with many bays and islands and channel access to another 300 acre lake. We are only 5 miles from Black Bear Golf course, an 18 hole, par 72, public course. There are many other golf courses within easy driving distance. You may also enjoy hiking or canoeing/tubing on 2 nearby rivers (Totagatic and Namekagon - the latter being a federally protected wilderness waterway). Perfect for a home-base for biking or golfing and a perfect place to gather with friends for scrap-booking. Daytrips to Hayward, Spooner, Duluth and the Apostle Islands are common diversions. You will be hard pressed to find a finer vacation home in the area. There is a non-smoking policy in the home for this rental.
