Standards dropped - prices increased

Had stayed int his villa before and had raved about how great it was. No more!! Still this villas standards have fallen. We had to wash all bedding when we arrived as it smelt awful. Some had definintely not been changed from the previous guests.
My main complaint though are the rates for the electricity. You are allowed so many units free of charge - then you get charged per unit. We were a party of 2. By day 3 we had used up the free units. How???? We spent days by the pool and had the oven on for 15mins in the evening. The cost of the electricity is so high that we didn't even dry our hair to go out in the evenings (not great for 2 females)!!! Really the worry of the cost of electricity spoilt the enjoyment of the holiday. I have also noticed that the price for the villa for the same time this year has doubled.
So many little things not being dealt with that spoil this villa. Owners need to pay more attention.

Fab villa........

This really is a beautiful villa but is in need of some TLC. Just a little money spent would take this villa back up to the standard I am sure it was.
The villa was spotlessly clean!!!!
TV didn't work properly - cd players inside and outside ddin't work properly.
It would be very helpful if there were some instructions for TV, jacuzzi etc. And really would be useful if there was a folder with local location, directions etc.
Sorry - but I found the small bedroom with the bunk beds extremely claustrophobic and stuffy.
The views are fantastic and the villa is ideally situated for those wanting the get away from it all holiday.
The gentleman that changes the linen etc is marvellous! What a character - he can give you any tips on where to go what to do etc - he is English but speaks fluent Spanish.
The steps down to the beach are not for the young, elderly or unfit - but if you can manage it it is another bonus - to spend time at the sea edge is very relaxing.
The gentlemen in the office are extremely pleasant and helpful.
Use the train to get out and about as it is very easy to use - and taxis back home at night are cheap and safe - we caught ours at the main train station taxi rank.
The people in the local restaurants will tell you the shortcut to the train (we wouldn't have ever found our way without their help!)
Local shop is limited on goods but you can get the basics - but does close at different times on different days.
The main town is great and of an evening you need go no further for a full night out of entertainments and good food and atmosphere.
I would definitely stay again - and am doing so this year.
Many more plusses than minuses.

Neglected luxury

The view from the villa is fantastic. Bedrooms not as described. Bunk beds and a mattress on the floor. Access to sea impossible and very dangerous. Electricity charge supplement is scandalously high. We were 3 adults using in my opinion less than average. Items not as promised. No instructions for any of the white goods. No information book etc Long way to walk for Internet usage. Small double bed not 2 singles in master bedroom. Villa is neglected luxury and will need more attention internally. The owner is not Costa Coveta as indicated they are the managing agents and talk estate agent speak.

Families with Young Children

DESCRIPTIF CONFORME A LA REALITE

C'est notre deuxième séjour dans cette maison les 2 fois en juin, une maison au calme sans vis à vis, mais très proche des commodités et de la vie nocture 4km.
Une plage familiale à 5 minutes à pied, et si vous êtes un peu plus sportif et bon nageur, la descente à la mer directement de la maison
Nous y retournons en septembre et nous avons déjà loué pour 2012.
Maison idéale pour une famille avec 2 ou 3 enfants (lits superposés), mais pas en bas âge, car la piscine est très près de la maison
Nous ne pouvons que vous la conseiller

De ligging en privacy zijn idiaal.
Er zijn een paar opmerkingen : een zonneparaplu voor op terras, een degelijke braadpan zonder antiaanbaklaag, een radio die speelt ( radio's die er waren speelden niet ) , een bed ipv 2 op elkaar geplaatste matrassen
