An excellent apartment comfortably well equipped and superbly clean. The rooms are spacious and the beds splendid. Whilst the views aren't award winning in the grand design of things it matters not as it's strategically close to Berlin centre by the nearby U Bahn. There are some descent restaurants nearby particularly an Argentinian if you like steak.
Sieglinde and Helmut were extremely helpfuland sympathetic; we would recommend this apartment to all. One minor observation as highlighted by a previous guest two armchairs in the lounge would be superb.

We stayed 4 days at this lovely apartment - my daughter, myself and two friends - and wished we had booked for longer!

Everything went smoothly, starting with the helpful emails from the owner, being met on arrival and shown around the flat, to the flat itself.

Being in Berlin in February we expected the cold but the flat was really warm, and incredibly quiet despite traffic below. The kitchen is far better equipped than my own at home, and beds very comfortable. You can get into central Berlin by bus in 15 mins, and the nearest underground station is 8 mins walk away. The neighbourhood has a very safe feeling and 4 ladies had no problems walking about in the evening.

Graffiti is everywhere in Berlinn and I think must be regarded less as vandalism and more as art - I only mention at as we were rather taken aback on arrival at the apartment block, and in fact the whole street, to see the graffiti! If that is your reaction then be assured that the you will get used to it very quickly, and it in no way relates to the inside of the building.

One nsuggestion we would make is for an additional sofa or armchairs in the living
room, as there were not enough comfy seats for the four of us in the evening - otherwise it was all perfect!

Everything was perfect for us: View to the railroad, near the Underground Station, free parking in the street, lot of space for 8 persons, very good kitchen with everything you need. Silence at the nights. Thank you very much! We would like to come back another time.

Buchung und Check-In haben angenehm und reibungslos geklappt. Die Wohnung selbst ist wirklich so schön wie auf den Fotos, war blitzblank geputzt und mit allem ausgestattet, was eine Familie im Urlaub braucht (incl. Wlan und DVD-Player mit einer guten Auswahl von Filmen). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Wohnung wämstens weiter.

This apartment is a must if you are staying in Berlin
Location wise it is excellent only a short walk to the s-bahn.
Very safe area and some really cool bars and restaurants close by.
There is also supermarkets and butchers etc again a short walk away.

Thomas the caretaker was there to greet us. He was very friendly and hospitable and made us feel at home right away

The apartment itself has a real wow factor,the photo's do not do it justice. Huge spacious rooms with a real homely feel.
Everything you could ask for and more,a real mix of traditional decor but with modern appliances. Wi-fi kept the teenagers happy as did the balcony with drinks for the parents.

The biggest praise goes to the owner the wonderful Sieglinde.

We cannot praise her high enough as we had a few changes to our itinerary which would try the patience of a saint. But nothing was a problem and everything went smoothly.

If you are going to Berlin you must stay here as it gives you a real Berliner type experience.

For us there is no other place we would want to stay in Berlin!!!

Really nice, spacious apartment; clean, modernised, well furnished and equipped. Although balcony overlooks fairly busy road, it was still a nice place for a drink in the warm evenings! Good double glazed windows shut out almost all street noise when closed.
Easy access to shops, cafes, bars within 5 minutes walk. Close to U- and S- Bahn stations for travel to anywhere in and around Berlin - very good value.

Internet-connected PC made my son happy; no problem accessing internet via apartment's home network using my laptop either.

Owner was friendly and helpful throughout e-mail negotiations.
Thoroughly recommended.
