The property owners were fantastic from my first experiences with them. Then my mother and I arrived at the property and were equally pleased. First and foremost, the property was VERY clean and completely comfortable. A family could easily fit in the residence, and the owners have equiped it very well for convenience and use.

The beds and bedding are clean and so very cozy, and the luggage stands are very thoughtful and convenient. Nothing is forgotten in the details in this house, so there is virtually no transition time to feeling at home at the rental house. (It was a little chilly so I loved the timed heaters in the bathrooms!)

The kitchen is designed so nicely and conveniently. It is as wonderful as the images portray it to be. We were only able to stay a few days, but I can imagine this being nice for long stays as well.

For those visiting for the first time, this property is located close to everything you need in the lovely little town of McMinnville. Also, Wineries are all around McMinnville and are very nicely and clearly marked along the way. I like Rex vineyard between McMinnville and Portland if you are looking for a starting place, but love the small roads and landscape out toward Amity as well. On this trip, we took the scenic drive out to Depoe Bay and went whale watching with Dockside Charters (another phenomenal organization). For anything you chose to do, this provides a great base camp!

My daughters away at college and we rent this house to make her feel at home. It's a great place to cook a home cooked meal. It was my daughters birthday and my second time renting this house. There were ballon and decorations left for my daughter.

Our family stayed in this home for the month of December, including having our family Christmas celebration here. It is an excellent place for families with 3 generous rooms, large closets and a comfortable feeling. Everything that one could need was available - we simply unpacked our bags and felt "home".

The home is centrally located in the Willamette Valley, making it a great alternative place to stay from Portland or Salem. It is convenient to both without the hassles. McMinnville is a town that anyone would be lucky to call home with a downtown area that is perfect for the out-of-town visitor. At Christmas, the downtown area was absolutely magical with Christmas lights and festive music. If you are in Oregon for Christmas, this is the town to stay in for a small-town, real American Christmas feel. It even snowed one night!

This house would be a phenomenal alternative to a hotel or BnB for people coming to McMinnville for Linfield College related events such as previewing the College, family or homecoming weekends, reunions or even just to visit a child who is attending the school. Guests can walk to campus. It would be a lovely home for a visiting professor or lecturer!

McMinnville also makes a great location for enjoying Oregon's wine country. So many great tasting rooms are nearby yet you don't feel as isolated as you would staying in Dundee or even Carlton. Plus there are other interesting things to explore - such as the Evergreen Aviation Museum. For us, we got to see Santa fly in on a Helicopter!

The house itself is lovely, with a decorator's touch and great linens and towels. While the weather didn't allow much outdoor play, the garage was fantastic for the kids to play with the many toys that the house offers including a Foos Ball table. As an example of the care the owners take to make guests feel at home - everything to make chocolate chip cookies except the chocolate chips was available for our use! What a nice surprise!

For those traveling to Oregon and wanting a home-away-from-home, I would definitely encourage you to stay in this home. The owners are very helpful and keep the property in excellent condition. Accessing the home was super easy - as was every aspect of our stay.

We absolutely loved our time in the house in McMinnville. We have family in town so it was perfect to have our own space that was clean and quiet while still enjoying family time. We found the house very well organized and for its small floor plan there was plenty of storage space. The closets are all empty and have hangers, the drawers are empty and the cabinets had plenty of space. This made it feel like a clean, new rental rather than that you were invading someone else's space, like some rentals I've had on VRBO. The washer and dryer was a huge convenience and worked well (though extremely loud--must run while away from the house or you can't sleep or hear the TV). There were a few items I would add to the kitchen (ice cream scoop, can opener that works) but it was otherwise well stocked yet clean and clutter-free. There were even toys for our 3 year old to play with in the garage that made our stay much easier (trains, lincoln logs, books, etc). I would recommend making a larger outside garbage can available for longer stays and also putting larger garbage cans in the inside for longer-term rentals. The bedrooms were clean and the master bed was comfortable. One of the beds was rather squeaky, though our 3 year old didn't mind. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and felt like we got a great deal for the price. The location, cleanliness, space and amenities made this an excellent fit for us. Thank you!

We had three couples total and the house was perfect for the size of our group. The owner has redone and maintained it quite well. If you like to cook at "home" on your vacations, this kitchen has just about everything you need.

The location is also great - walkable to a grocery store, Mexican restaurant and main drag in McMinville.

Really liked the property and it met what was described in the ad. Perfectly kept, clean, fresh and great for a stay. Steps are tough for physically handicapped non-wheel chair people but that was shared in the overview and I just missed it. Would stay again anytime over any hotel in the area. If I wanted country surroundings I probably would stay outside of town somewhere. But if you want to enjoy a nice place to go in and out of, it is great. Need more "drawer" space in rooms to put clothes for long stays.

This home was a great place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable for myself and the 4 other adults. The beds were AMAZING, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! As far as amenities, most everything was there. I have stayed in many vacation rentals, so I was expecting the everyday cooking items normally found in the kitchen, such as spices, oil, condiments in the fridge, which this home did not have. Otherwise, it was a great kitchen to cook in with all the utensils needed. We had a great time and would stay at that home again.

A very clean, very well equipped vacation rental. We wanted for nothing. The managers were more than accomadating when we arrived a day ahead of time. A short 10 min. walk to the historic downtown. This is our "Place To Stay" on our next visit.
