A local convenience store and bus service is situated in Croce and the highly recommended ‘Agroturismo’ popular with families and known as ‘La Barcola’ is less than a 5 minutes drive away.

The nearby world famous Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf club provides the ideal activity for golf fans and a tennis club and nature can be found in nearby Loveno. Several horse riding centres also operate in Porlezza.

Menaggio is one of the famous picturesque ‘golden triangle’ towns of Lake Como and is easily accessible from Croce, being just a 5 minute’s drive away. Pretty cafe-lined piazzas, a wide variety of shops and restaurants and a family-friendly Lido with cocktail lounge provides all you need on a daily basis and a car and passenger ferry service operates from the town between Bellagio, Varenna and Cadenabbia. Nearby attractions include Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi and Villa Balbianello. Fine dining can be found easily along the western shore, from the central lake to the south and the trendy Lido bar nightclub in Lenno is also a popular destination in the evenings.

Nearby guests can also enjoy the lake activities which include sailing, kayaking, water sports, quad bike tours and other extreme sports. Ski resorts are many and varied from Madesimo to St Moritz, and are just 1-2 hours drive away. The villa is highly accessible from all major Milan and Swiss airports.
