100% Perfect! Could not be better!

We left the 30 and 40 degree weather in Nashville behind for some 70 degree weather in Destin! The penthouse had more than enough room for all 11 of us! Our absolute only complaint is we wish we could have stayed longer! So perfect!

Wow! Fabulous family vacation! Definitely a 5 Plus Star Penthouse!!!

Wow! This condo was absolutely fabulous and was even better than the pictures! We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful upgrades and the amazing views! We had 14 people from more than 3 families and we felt very comfortable in this large Penthouse. We all had our own beds and private spaces and there was enough seating for us all to eat meals together between the large dining room table and the bar stools. This penthouse was both beautiful, functional, very clean and very comfortable. We loved the black out curtains that were in each room which allowed all the children to sleep later than normal and enjoy a nap in the afternoon as well. We also enjoyed swimming in the heated indoor pool. Even though it was December the weather was very pleasant and the heated pool was very fun to play and swim in. We even found floats in the honor closet in the condo for the kids, including noodles and large floats for the adults that were relaxing and fun pool toys for our children as well. We were amazed with all of the extra conveniences that the owner provides in this condo. Games, supplies, fully stocked kitchen, honor closet (that had beach towels, floats for the pool, and even extra bathroom and kitchen supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, ziplock bags, toothbrushes and much more). When we first arrived the owner had even left cold bottled waters and cans of soft drinks in the refrigerator which was most appreciated . In the bathrooms, we loved that two of the showers both had two shower heads which made showering multiple children at one time very easy. Our children also loved both of the bunk rooms. The downstairs bunk is very cozy and a great little hide away to watch TV or take a nap. The upstairs bunk room was very large and had a lot of open space and became a play room where the kids tended to congregate. Our kids enjoyed playing the X-Box games and other games in the large bunk room. From the living area and dining room area we could see the beautiful crystal clear gulf. We even saw dolphins swimming from the condo! We enjoyed the really large flat screen TV in the living room and watched a couple of movies that the owner supplied. We also went on several walks on the boardwalk that was next to the street and made it easy to walk along and enjoy the beach (without having to get in the sand every time we wanted to walk and enjoy the view). This was the best vacation and best Christmas that our large family ever had together.

Our family visited Destin for New Years. What an absolutely amazing trip! We have stayed here before and this continues to be our family's favorite condo!! It is beautiful with amazing views and convenient to everything Destin. We cannot recommend this condo more highly. Thank you for allowing us to usher in the New Year in paradise!!

The condo is exceptional, clean, well cared for, beautiful view of the beach and sunsets. From the advertisement, we did not realize that the condo was across the street from the beach. We were bothered by traffic noise. The location is great, near restaurants and shopping. There were seven of us of varying ages and there was plenty of room for each to have privacy when needed. The downstairs bed was not as comfortable as we would have wished. Not much privacy crossing the hall at night in front of the glass entry door. The kitchen is well stocked and the honor pantry was very helpful. We would recommend this condo to friends.

Owner's Response: In November and December 2012, we were in the process of remodeling our condo. We have now added curtains that block those windows that are between the bedroom with the king size bed and the front door. We have also added new hard wood tile floors, glass kitchen backsplash, and all new luxurious comforters, high thread count sheets and pillows. Thank you for your comments and we are glad that you enjoyed spending Thanksgiving in our condo.

Lovely Condo

Your condo is beautifully decorated and furnished. Our family had plenty of areas to gather together, or go for quiet time. We used the exercise room, pools and hot tub. But we really loved the beautiful views and perfect weather. We were disappointed that the condo was not on the beach, but actually across the street. It doesn't affect the view, but the steady sound of traffic distracted from the sounds of the sea. We were also disappointed that our neighbors enjoyed smoking on their balcony, causing us to vacate our balcony and close the sliding doors. The front room gets quite warm with the sunlight coming through the second floor windows. It would have been nice to be able to selectively shade those windows.
The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms were so spacious and beautiful. And we loved having a washer and dryer upstairs.
You could probably ask the cleaners to do a good thorough cleaning of the place. The floors started out a bit sandy in places. Some of the kitchen cabinets and dishes were sticky. The handle to the master balcony is broken.
We loved the Honor Closet! What a lovely idea! How many times have we wished we had something, or purchased something that may be tossed by the housecleaners? We also enjoyed trying the Kerig coffee system.
Thank you for offering to share your lovely place. We had a very nice week. However, we prefer to be right on the ocean where we can see, hear and smell the water.

Owner's Response: We are now pleased to announce that we have hired a private property supervisors (who are a husband and wife team) and a new private housekeeper and they are all absolutely fabulous! They do a much more thorough job cleaning and their attention to detail is excellent. They are able to give our condo extra special care and they are able to provide that over the top "Penthouse" service and experience that our guests desire. You will now find cold drinks in the refrigerator when you arrive, Bounty paper towels (including extra rolls), Quilted Northern toilet paper (including extra rolls for each bathroom), and a supply closet that is stocked with items that guests tend to forget.
We used to use a very large management company and the reason we had to fire them was the housekeepers did not do a thorough of enough job and they were not able to offer the special little extra services that we wanted to provide our guests. Now with our new private property supervisors, they do an excellent job and we can even take special requests. We now are able to provide grocery shopping services or almost any other special requests that our guests may have.

Amazing family condo

Our family of 11 just returned from Miramar Beach, Fl and stayed in a beautiful condo at Majestic Sun. Photos did not do the condo justice - it was just breath taking. The condo was large enough for everyone to have their own space and cozy enough for us to all sit together for meals, conversation, etc. The children especially loved the downstairs "bunk" room. It was like their own private hideaway. The view was spectacular. The condo had every convenience you could imagine - we even made homemade ice cream. We were close to all our favorite restaurants and kids activities. Our only complaint was not having a luggage cart to bring our things up at check-in and down at check-out. Maybe the owners could provide one of their own because the resort only has 8 and they are hard to find. It was a great week and we made lots of memories.
