Two of us rented this adorable house for a week in March. Everything went so well, from the communications with the owners to the ease of check-in, the convenience of the location, the very well-equipped kitchen, cleanliness, laundry facilities . . . all in all a great vacation! I have rented lots of houses and this was one of the best. I hope to return soon!

My husband and I rented this home unexpectedly (due to the Butterfly Bungalow owner's double booking). What a great deal we ended up with! We were able to walk to the Congress Street restaurants, nearby parks and it was perfect! The owners were quite acommodating on such sort notice. We'll definitely stay here for our next trip to Austin.

My husband and I along with a friend stayed for one week at the Travis Heights house and thought it was great. There was plenty of room and the furnishings were so nice. The location was great for our purposes and we would definately stay there in the future.

This was a perfect little house for our short weekend in Austin. The location was close enough to downtown, yet far enough away from any loud noises from traffic or crowds. Everything we needed for the weekend was in the house already. The place has been maintained and cleaned very well for our arrival and there was plenty of room for our group of 6. We will definitely be trying to book this house again in the future.

We came to Austin for a reunion with my husband's three sisters and their families. We all stayed around the South Congress area in different locations. This house was perfect for us and our two kids -- a teen and a tween -- they both had their own bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you will need -- we hosted a dinner for the family one night and it was very nice. There is plenty of room for visitors and the flow of the place and the large size of the kitchen are great for allowing people to congregate in the kitchen and dining area. This place is great for a family that needs space but also wants to be close to the shops and restaurants of South Congress. Also, the owners are fantastic -- very friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family wanted to come to Austin to celebrate Christmas with our first Grandchild. This house ended up being perfect! My father, who is 86, and uses a walker was able to get around easily. The master bedroom and bath was perfect for him....and would be for anyone. All the bedrooms are good sized, have built in dressers and large closets....and the beds were comfortable. The biggest surprise for us was the kitchen. We love to cook and had some concerns as to whether the kitchen would work for Christmas dinner, but the kitchen was well appointed and the 6 burner gas range was put to good use. I did bring my own knives as no matter where we have rented, the knives are never sharp enough. Also wish I had brought several serving pieces...but we made do. Also realize that most renters are not cooking such a significant meal. We had a "challenge" with the TV, and the owners were very responsive in helping us get it working. The location of this home was ideal...easy to get to coming from Houston as well as for our Austin activities. I would recommend this home and will rent it again.

I live in Austin and had a college girls weekend planned (6 gals over 40). I wanted us to stay closer to town and not in my own house. This Travis Heights house was perfect for the 6 of us to sleep comfortably and to hang out. The location was within walking distance to South Congress and a cheap cab ride to downtown. ($9 or less)

The style is all South Austin! Has everything you will need in the kitchen, parking in off the street, personal secure code. We ended up hanging out in the kitchen with the bonus space most of the time.
