Come and enjoy a relaxing South Nags Head vacation. This Laughing Gull cottage is uniquely furnished and decorated with the owner's personal touch and original paintings.Whether you're watching the waves of the Atlantic ocean, the dolphins or pelicans playing, or the beautiful sunrises, you will be inspired by the views.

You will enjoy direct access to one of the best stretches of beach in Nags Head that is far less crowded and quiet. There is also a lifeguard station on the beach from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The wide sand beaches of South Nags Head are some of the cleanest beaches on the Outer Banks. Come relax, read a book, sunbathe, or enjoy the soothing sounds of the ocean.

The kitchen has all the modern conveniences of home with a stove, microwave, dishwasher and a refrigerator. There are plenty of cooking utensils and flatware.

An enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water is located on the ground level.

In front of the cottage there is a jogging, bicycle, or walking trail that extends for 6 miles along Old Oregon Inlet Road. This concrete multi-use path is excellent for taking an afternoon stroll or biking with the family. Outlet shopping located only 1.5 half miles from the cottage.

Don't forget to be at the docks of Oregon Inlet (15 minutes away) at 4:00 to watch the charter fleet come in with their fresh catch of the day.

Please bring bed and bath linens and toiletries. We supply bed top covers and pillows. Linens can be rented via local providers, ask for references.

We only offer our property for rent on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. No partial week rentals or house parties.

What makes this cottage unique

What makes this cottage so special? It's away from the hustle and bustle of Kill Devil Hills and Kitty Hawk. The beach is rarely, if ever, overcrowded. Having a lifeguard, the last one at this end of the beach, is comforting as we get older and have young ones still running the beach.

Spent the 4th of july week here. Awesome weather, super clear water, could not have asked for anything better. We loved the house. It has everything needed, ample parking for us,close beach access and a nice homey atmosphere, especially with the family photos displayed. After the 1st day, we started planning on returning next year. And the artwork is fabulous a treat inside and out!
