The Chateau Vary and cottages are set in 175 acres of grounds consisting of garden, landscaped parkland, forest. Accommodation is of the highest quality, with each unit designed to promote its individual character whilst providing a unique holiday setting. The Château has two self contained apartments one with 4 bedrooms sleep 10. The other has 2 bedrooms sleep 6. The Ecurie have 3 bedrooms. All kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, gas cooker, microwave, iron and board, fridge TV and DVD. Bed linen cot and high chair are included but towels may be hired.The size of the grounds and the layout of the accommodation ensures everyone has space and privacy. Each unit has garden furniture and a barbecue. It is a wonderful setting for a family holiday.

It is in the Loire Valley that many of the most famous chateaux of France are to be found, and for many is a major reason to visit the area. But is not the only reason! There is very attractive countryside, plenty of interesting towns to explore, and a stretch of River Loire that is both beautiful and unspoiled (and a listed World Heritage Site),

The castle in the town of Angers deserves a visit,Chateau Plessis-Bourre. The popular town of Saumur for both the town itself and for the Château.The Abbey at Fontevraud (south-east of Saumur) is one of the most extensive complexes of its type to be found anywhere in Europe.
The quiet town of Baugé is also recommended. One of the most attractive villages in the region is found at Montsoreau - it is a classified 'most beautiful village' - and Asnieres-sur-Vegre is also a very pretty village on the side of a river.
