Great place. Clean and has everything you need and is well located (near Glories and only 10 min walk from Sagrada)
We'll surely be back someday.

The apartment is great - basic, but clean and has everything.
We were met at late hour by the owner and given keys and phones of both owners. Just in case we needed any help. We did not need it, everything was fine. And, they let us stay the last day till late afternoon, as we had an evening flight and the apartemnt was free that day!
The stairs and neighbourhood is friendly and queit, nice green Diagonal boulebard outside.The location is very good, next to metro stations of 3 different lines (Monumental, Glorias) and a bit away, but stil close, one called after Sagrada Familia, which you can even see from the window. Tram line to the beach is close too.
We found that Barcelona metro is so good and reliable, you can get from anywhere to anywhere in approx. 30min, including wait time, no closed lines and stations nonsense.
There are few small shops downstairs, small supermarket round the corner, and a big Carrefour on the other side of the huge Glorias junction with a glowing gerkin building.
Dos:
Book Sagrada Familia tickets online or in the large yellow Caixa banking machines which you can see everywhere. It will save you a lot of time. You can do the same for Casa Batllo and Casa Mila/La Pedrera, and save even more time.

expect good service and nice food on La Rambla boulevard.But most other places are friendly and serve great food.

We found the apartment to be very modern and clean.
The location was good, especially for visiting the Sagrada Familia. It is also only a few minutes walk from the tube (Monumental) and Glories shopping centre (incl Carrefour).
It was noisy at times in the living room, but the bedrooms were both quiet.
Both the owners seemed very friendly and responded to emails promptly.
A note on Barcelona; pickpocketing is rife, especially when you are carrying a suitcase.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Glorias apartment.
Its location is very convenient, 15 min walk from Sagrada Familia, 5 min from the metro station and even walking distance to some other attractions.
There are food shops open until 21 hrs seconds away from the apartment.
The apartment is very clean and spacious, with 2 quiet bedrooms and large living room with the kitchen fully equipped, nice bathroom. Not too noisy despite proximity of the main street.
We had 2 little children with us that loved sitting by the window and looking at the street, however one of the windows did not have the proper lock and we were worried that the kids could open it.
The owner welcomed us and explained everything about the apartment and answered all questions we had. The transactions were very smooth and trustful.
I recommend very much this apartment.

We found this apartment a pleasant surprise when we arrived for our stay in Barcelona. Juanjo met us as arranged and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy ourselves. The apartment is clean, quiet and well situated and just as described on this site. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodation in BCN.

Our 14-year old twins and ourselves have loved staying at Daniel and Juanjo's apartment.

It's true to its description in every way. We loved the modern decoration and it was very clean.

It's also pretty central, close to metros, buses and tram, huge shopping center, Sagrada Familia, Hospital Sant-Pau (a must see) but still off the beaten path and pretty quiet (except for the neighbour's dog endless barking – but just for a few hours on one night).

We felt welcomed and any questions we had were answered very quickly during the whole process from first contact to departure. Very professional and very warm.

It was nice to be greeted to the apartment by sweet Juanjo after an exhausting overnight flight.

Would definitely recommend it to friends and family!

We stayed for a week in July 2011. This apartment is well located next to two metros and a huge shopping centre. 15 minutes walk to Sagrada Familia, which you can see from the window! Alll amenities, fully equipped with cooking utensils and pots and pans for those who want to cook at home. The only negative thing is that the walls are very thin - we could hear every conversations from the neighbours. But if you like me are used to sleeping with earplugs anyway, it's of no concern. Bedroom number 2 got quite hot during the night, but again, nothing to worry about. Good shower and bathroom and the owners had even laid out informational brochures! We recommend the Barcelona City Tour which you can hop on and buy tickets on (buy the 2-day one) from outsite the Glories shopping centre. The owners are nice and quick to reply to any concern you might have! We had a nice stay and would recommend this to others!
