This is a perfect place for families. The lakefront, shopping, golf, Safeway, bars, and restaurants are all walkable from the front door. (about a 5 minute walk). Once you get there, you won't really have to drive anywhere.

This a great to place to unwind with a glass of wine or cold beer/cocktail. You can literally walk to everything and won't need to get back in to the car until you check out. There are plenty of restaurants with great food and live music nearby.

The house is located on a quiet street with a large deck for entertaining and dinners. All the furniture is brand new as well as parts of the house being freshly painted.

GREAT for Ski Trips!

Was in charge of planning a snowboarding trip to Tahoe with a small group of friends, this Cabin turned out to be ideal in every way!

Has great options for entertainment, great location near Tahoe City, close to the slopes (only a 10minute drive to Squaw), nicely furnished and I would describe the decor as modern yet cozy. Kitchen is well stocked with everything from spices to pots and pans, and the house was extremely clean!

Matt (owner) is very nice and straight up guy to deal with, would not hesitate to come back again and actually hope to do so next year!

We had a great time here!!...The location is so convenient to everything and you don't need to drive anywhere once you get there. The large deck is a great place to relax and the owner keeps the place very clean and fully stocked for renters. I'll be staying here again for sure.

This was a great find, my friends and I did a girls trip and are so happy we chose this property. It's nice and clean and is well-stocked with anything you may need. The location is unbeatable, it's a short walk to downtown Tahoe City and the lake, which made for a hassle-free weekend. We did some meals at the house and some meals at the local restaurants, the grocery store is right there which made it easy to stock up on food once we got there. We also walked down to the lake and rented some paddle boards which was a ton of fun. And at the end of the day we relaxed in the hot tub too! I am already looking for another excuse to go back to Tahoe so we can stay here again!

Prime Tahoe location and great house

My friends and I had a great time during our weekend stay at Matt's house in Tahoe City. Not only is the house a short 5 minute walk to a great swimming beach on the lake but it's also close to numerous restaurants and shops on the main street through town. However, our favorite part was the huge second floor outdoor deck; it had plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and enjoy the great weather. I will definitely try and stay here again next time I'm up in Tahoe.

Matt's house is a fantastic place to stay in Tahoe City. It's walkable to everything downtown so you can drive up and forget about your car for the week. The house is comfortable and quiet with a selection of things to do including board and card games. The kitchen is well equipped if a little small, so you don't have to go out to eat every night. The second floor deck is sunny and warm even on slightly chillier days and is a great spot to hang out with your family after a day on the river or lake.

My husband, two children, and I had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful Tahoe home. Once we arrived, we never used our car. Walking distance to everything. The house is fully stocked with everything you need and is so clean. We can't wait to go back!
