Located in a quiet secluded neighborhood our home is perfectly located to explore the Big Island. We are minutes from downtown Kona, shops, beaches, golf courses, snorkeling and other attractions. We give you advice on the best quiet beaches where you can sunbathe with the sea turtles or kayak with the dolphins.
Our home is at the perfect elevation allowing for comfortable evenings away from the heat and noise with quiet dinners and unobstructed sunset ocean views.
We visited the Big Island on our honeymoon and fell in love with the land, people and culture. Through the years we had visited the islands of Hawaii several times but it was the Big Island at Kona that reminded us so much of our home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, except with an ocean.
We chose this home because of the area, being just far enough from the crowds of downtown but close to the many other attractions offered. We are planning to live there part time in a few years.
We looked at so many properties in Kona and to the south near Captain Cook and north to Waikoloa, but none were as nice as this home. We loved that it was brand new yet in an established neighborhood and that it was central to all points of interest. Upon entering the house the unobstructed view of the ocean from our lanai was breathtaking. The elevation was perfect allowing for the ideal temperature and vegetation types that we had grown to love. Being that this was a new home also allowed us to orchestrate our own landscaping which includes, papaya, mango, and avocado trees, pineapple, traditional palms, bird of paradise and many other gorgeous plants.
