I stayed in Tim's apartment for 2 weeks. The apartment is just as the pictures show. It's really beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The area is also great. There are a lot of nice places to eat, lovely streets around and many subways that takes you everywhere. It's also quiet and safe. I arrived late at night a few times and I felt secure. Also there's a doorman 24x7, the apartment has a washing machine and you're close to the Brooklyn bridge and to PIer 17 which has an incredibly view! Tim is a great host. He's very thoughtful and caring and he's available to answer questions and recommend places. I've e-mailed him during my stay and he answered asap. He showed me around the area when I arrived and he helped me in my last day with my shuttle and also recommended a nice place to have my last lunch in the city. Thanks Tim! Couldn't have asked for more. Hope to come back soon. Marisa.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful studio apartment for a week. The place is exactly as pictured/described. Very clean and modern with a HUGE walk-in closet. It was very convenient to have a washer and dryer AND a dishwasher in the unit. We also really appreciated the extra amenities in the building - free continental breakfast on weekdays, free access to the gym, and a beautiful rooftop lounge and outdoor deck. Tim was a fabulous host/landlord. He was easy-to-reach and very accommodating. We found that the TV speakers were blown and he arranged to have a new/bigger TV delivered the next day. We also LOVED the downtown location. Lots to do in the area and also very convenient for mass transit. We'll definitely be contacting Tim for our future NYC trips.

I stayed in Tim's apartment in the financial District and it was amazing. I was skeptical at first. I wanted to stay in his midtown apt but it was booked. And I was not familiar with the financial District. The apartment is beautiful . Exactly what the photos show. only it is more beautiful at night. I love the location . Tim showed me cute little cafes to have breakfast. i rented a bike with Tim and he showed my a great bike ride. There are lots of restaurants by the water with lovely views. my favorite is Horse shoe. Great Hamburgers. and i also loved this german bar right on the water looking over the brooklyn bridge. The apartment is close to all the major subways so it was very easy and quick to get around the city. We even bought Broadway show ticket for half price only a 5 minute walk. The financial district is my new favorite neighborhood. And i can not wait to return and stay in Tim"s studio again.
I highly recommend it!
