Great location, nice amenities, perfect hosts

Location, location, location - this place has it. In a charming neighborhood with nearby grocery (Safeway and El Cerrito Natural Grocery), coffee (Peets and Starbucks), BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit - for easy access to San Fran, Oakland, etc), wine shops (Odd Lots and Kermit Lynch), restaurants (Solano Grill yum) and within walking distance of one of the best wildlife/hiking areas (Wildcat Canyon) with views of the Bay that are breath taking.
The apartment is well maintained with nice amenities including access to a beautiful garden - perfect for relaxing and just soaking up the sun. The photos in the listing accurately depict the apartment and garden
Claudia is a great hostess. She is knowledgeable and available. When I need a place in the Bay Area again I will definitely re-book here.

A great place to stay in the East Bay

I as write this review I am thinking this is a double edged sword, because we come to the East Bay several times a year and if more people know how fantastic this place is the harder it is going to be to rent! However, the owners really do deserve all the kind words myself and other reviewers are giving them!!!
For my wife and I this place was perfect. Unlike other VR places we have tried this place was immaculate and very cutely decorated too. This place does feel like home; meaning things were where they should have been. If we were cooking on the gas cooktop and thought about utensils, plates or even plastic wrap, they were exactly where I would have stored them if this was my home. The owners has freshly ground coffee, a few bottles of ice cold water and a lovely bottle of wine all waiting for us.
We stayed at this lovely location for over 2 weeks and enjoyed everyday!!

The place is lovely,clean, and quiet, the location is great, the landlord is friendly and attentionate, and takes care of all those small details that ensure a stay is pleasant. What more to ask for!

A nice stay in little in-law unit in Richmond Annex

We had a very nice stay in the unit. It was very clean and fully equipped with everything. We had no problems with the wi-fi or anything else in the apartment. The owner was available for any problems and even gave us a bike to use while we were there. It was a perfect location for visiting our family in the area as well as easily going to San Francisco.
The only inconvience was the outside gate, since we only had one key it sometimes made it difficult if one of us stayed home and other went out. This could be easily solved either with a second key or a doorbell on the outside gate. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your wonderful apartment.
