Aloha. My husband, son and I stayed at this condo in Kihei for nine nights in April 2013. Absolutely loved it. The location of this condo was fantastic. Right across the street from a beach that was rarely busy. We enjoyed spending the early morning looking for turtles in the fish pond near the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale Sanctuary. We saw several. Easy access to the highways to take you all over the island. The condo is just like the pictures and is clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfy and we only turned the air conditioning on once for about 15 minutes when we first got there, We are from a cold climate so our first night off the plane seemed so hot to us.Once we were acclimatized we never used it again. The cross breeze from the bedroom through the living room was awesome! The pool and hot tub were very nice and clean, it was a great way to spend an hour in the evening after a busy day in the sun. Mark very nice and easy to deal with and provided some very helpful tips for things to do in the area.
The only negative, as mentioned in other reviews, was the traffic noise. If you’re looking for quiet then this is not the place for you. It didn’t bother me too much and when I return to Maui I would definitely rent from Mark again. Thanks Mark!

One week was not enough. This place is just what is described and true to the pictures. We found it to be clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The washer and dryer came in handy. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows and the living room couches. We loved the shower and the lighting options. The location was perfect for us. We walked across to the Whale Museum and to the beach where we were lucky to experience many whale sightings! Grocery stores, restaurants, beaches, sunsets... It’s all nearby! Mark was very helpful in supplying useful information about the condo and the surrounding area, answering my many questions and could always be reached! As the information indicated, this condo is close to the road and yes, there is some noise, but nothing we couldn’t deal with. We were still able to enjoy sitting out on the lanai, swim in the pool or relax in the hot tub.
We took the road to Hana and hiked into the rainforest and to some remote beaches. The snorkeling at Molokini Crater was great. The fish taco’s at Coconut’s are unforgettable and Mama’s Fish House was a nice way to celebrate our anniversary. (So many activities!)
This was a first time going through VRBO and we were pleased with our experience. I would (and have) recommend this condo to family and friends.

We stayed for six nights in this condo and found it to be extremely noisy because it is so close to the main road. The renos of the kitchen and bathroom are very nice but the living room furniture is very dated and needs replacing. They also need to get new bedroom pillows as the ones they have are worn out, flat and hard! The location is nice and close to a quiet beach and was a great place to walk over and watch the sunset. Unfortunately the traffic was so noisy that it made sitting out on the lanai irritating.

Great vacation! Condo is conveniently located in S Kihei and beach across the street was a great place to go and relax. Even snorkeled there with a sea turtle! Mark is great to work with and we would stay again.

Over about 20 years we have been renting condos in Hawaii and have stayed at many places in Kihei.Our objective is to get the best value which to us is close to the water,good furnishings,pool, hot tub, and a good bed with the possibility of an ocean view.This unit met our expectations .The unit was very nicely equipped [beach chairs,beach towels boogie boards mats snorkel equipment etc... Beautiful bathroom with a fantastic shower that was unique for a Maui rental property. Well equipped kitchen, nice pool and great hot tub.Met some nice people down by the bbq gtrill. Nice sandy beach is literally 50 yards across the street to swim or view the sunset. The only downside is that the unit is so close to the beach that you are right on the street which can be noisy. Overall,of all the places we have stayed in Kihei, I would give this property a thumbs up and would stay there again.
