We only stayed a weekend but the house was perfect for what we needed and right ON THE BEACH! We just had to walk down a little ways to get a perfect spot. The beach area was not really crowded at all either. The house was nice and clean and provided us with everything we needed. We are looking forward to renting it again next year.

Really enjoyed this house. Good location that is close to Galveston. Only complaint was that the beach was a non-drinking beach - don't remember this being disclosed.

Overall a great house and it was certainly a lot of fun being here. We had some issues with lights going off in the living room and kitchen for a few minutes on the first day. Owner was very receptive to the problem and did all one could do to fix it though it got fixed on its own in few minutes before the owner could send anyone to look at the issue. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and will probably rent it again next year.

This place was amazing, the remodel is beautiful!!! we did a girl's weekend with our kids and it was perfect!!! We will be coming back for sure!!! Loved the out door showers for sand removal and there was plenty of room for 3 families!!! AWESOME!!!!

This house was awesome. It is right on the ocean with a wonderful view and so close that the kids can play on the beach and can be watched from the deck. House was very clean and beautifully decorated. The owners made you feel very welcoming by allowing the use of their beach chairs, BBQ grill, and toys. Can't wait to go back and this time I get the master bedroom with access to deck! The price is very reasonable for this big, beach house right on the Gulf. The only restaurant we visted was Guido's and it has great seafood. Some of our family went to the City fishing pier and fished until 2 AM. Great week-end. Will definitely go back to this house. Thank you.

First time rented a beach house. little nervous what getting into. The Galaways walked us through the rental steps.Everything was in the house don to suntan lotion ! We used the four bedrooms. Celebrating a grandkid to be though we didnt use them a crib,playpen and security gate was available.My daughter and I went on long walks and yes even swam in the cold ocean for an hour each day. A barbeque grill is included and we grilled shrimp and sausage. At night we played games at the table. Everything is there fora great family escape that gives a chance to just relax. The Galaways contacrted us several times before the trip.Looking foward to our return rentals. The Galaways med us feel like family. Several thumbs up

Pictures and description were as described. The house has a definite beach feel. As a Galveston resident it was perfect to visit my family and take them around the island. The beach and deck were incredible. We spent many hours listening to the waves and relaxing by the beach. When the need arises this beach house will be my first pick. In addition I was able to chat with the owner and he was accomodating and great to deal with! The price was very reasonable, compared with other properties I looked into it was actually inexpensive. My family was very surpised and delighted with the accomodations also. My mom said far exceeded her expectations. Thank you to VRBO and the property owner. This experience was a 110% fantastic.
