I can't say enough great things about the representatives at Views on Venice! Everyone I dealt with was polite, helpful and pleasant and inquiries were responded to in a prompt and efficient manner. It was wonderful to be met at the water bus stop and be escorted to our apartment. In addition to touring the apartment and learning how to operate the appliances and such, we were given an emergency phone contact which we actually had to use when the air conditioners stopped working. I guess this is a fairly common occurrence in Venice and we were told what to do and all the air conditioners were on again after one quick phone call. The air conditioners were a must the weeks we were in Italy as the temperatures soared over 100 degrees many times. The apartment was spacious and very well situated.We were traveling with our three grown sons so the three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms allowed everyone to be comfortable. We loved being on the Zattere as it was a lovely place to walk (or run as my one son reported) and was close to a great grocery store (Billa) as well as water bus stops to travel around the city. We have stayed near the St. Marks area before and found this to be a quieter and more peaceful place to stay. There were lots of restaurants nearby and a great gelato place called Nico's. The only caution about staying in this apartment is that there are a lot of stairs with no elevator so this may be any issue for people with limited mobility. For us, we considered it it exercise so we could eat more gelato and great Venetian food with less guilt! I would surely use Views on Venice again and would not hesitate to stay in any apartment they offer. Their customer service was top-notch from the beginning of our apartment search and booking, straight through our stay and beyond. A wonderful and memorable experience all around!
