This was a wonderful house for my 28th annual reunion with six of my childhood girlfriends! The rural setting was lovely and we so enjoyed talking morning walks in the neighborhood, sitting outside on the patio with our coffee, and sipping afternoon cocktails on the covered porch. The home offered exactly the relaxed atmosphere we wanted for our "girl" time. The kitchen was well equipped so our meal preparations were fun with plenty of room for conversation in the spacious kitchen/dinning room areas. The sleeping accommodations were very satisfactory. We all felt "right-at-home" in Leslie and Tim's Nevada City home.

We rented this home with two other couples..it was perfect! The house was set up well with everything we needed and we were able to take great walks just out our front door. Nevada City was close by. We even enjoyed a quick trip up highway 20 to play in the new snow.

We really enjoyed our stay at your home. With the high level of activity associated with our son's wedding in downtown Nevada City, it was perfect to be able to spend the time up to and after the wedding at the house. The beauty, peacefulness and plenty of space for our family was refreshing and such a delightful experience. I saw our son walk through the spacious back yard practicing his wedding vows. We can't wait to come back another time (without a wedding :)). Thanks for openng your home to our family.

Upon arriving we met the owners and they were extremely gracious and welcoming. The home was accommodating for the needs of our entire family and two dogs. Everyone had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful, welcoming, and we had the most restful vacation. Thank you for such a lovely vacation! :)

As we pulled up to our rental house at the end of a country road passing a doe and fawn peering through the firs, my grandchildren spilled out of the car. At the sight of a basketball standard, ping pong table, and capacious lawn my grandson declared with breathless excitement that he never wanted to leave.

I was equally thrilled. The picture of the house in the on line description does not do justice to its beauty and design. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say there are graciously comfortable outdoor areas for every time of day, and the indoor spaces have been designed with equal care for usability and comfort. The "mud room" contains all the kids equipment and the large kitchen was a dream to use while visiting or monitoring the badminton and softball games on the lawn.

Many activities are moments away despite the feeling that you're miles away from the hub bub of life. Nevada City is a picturesque page out of history, my grandkids enjoyed the city pool almost as much as they did playing in the nearby Yuba River.

Leslie and Tim have done a truly remarkable job building this home and attending to every detail. It's so beautifully landscaped that I kept imagining how wonderful the spot would be for a wedding or celebration.

As we reluctantly pulled away from what had truly been our home for five days, we all agreed this was where we'd return every summer.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is nicely secluded - down a long driveway, very private, yet a convenient drive to town. The kitchen is nicely equipped, the family room comfortable, and dining on the deck very enjoyable. We certainly recommend this home, and hope to return when we're back out to California one of these days. Thank you, enjoyed it!
