Spectacular Getaway
We snuck away with our family for a brief vacation over the holidays - and we could not have picked a better place to get away from it all. Paradise Valley is so beautiful and serene in the winter, and the River House was the perfect, cozy spot from which we could explore it. We have rented vacation homes in many places, from California to Tennessee, and this experience was by far the best. A wonderful gift basket was a delightful surprise, as were Megan and Dee Dee's hospitality and their excellent advice for us on where we could go and what we could see during our stay. The River House was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything we could ever want or need. The views from the windows - which run the length of the house - were spectacular. We even awoke one morning to see a herd of deer grazing in the meadow between the house and the river. The beds were warm and comfortable, and the house was spacious enough for even our large family to roam about without being on top of each other. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely be returning to the River House - maybe next time we'll enjoy it in the summer!

Review
The host Megan did a great job. The gift basket and free passes were very nice. The stove and underneath things was not as clean as it should have been. The upstairs had no facilities whatsoever to put belongings for the three people that slept upstairs. The sliding glass door on the back sometimes would not shut completely because of a piece of metal that hung down a little too far. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Beautiful house on the Yellowstone
Our family was very pleased with the property. Was everything that was described and much more! This family really goes above and beyond what most vacation rentals provide. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms had shampoo and bath soaps, even laundry soap for the 2 washers and dryers. We were left a gift basket with passes to Chico hot springs and all the fixins for homemade ice cream. The location was just beautiful! Fishing and swimming access right out the back. Two sets of binoculars in the home to watch the wildlife. Megan was just wonderful, so kind, and willing to help with any of our needs! Thanks!

We had an excellent stay at the house. It is such a peaceful place and gave us a much needed break from our norm. Megan and the rest of her family provide a warm, wonderful place for you and your family to stay. Anything we needed was taken care of Immediately. If you are looking for rest and relaxation or some hiking and fishing, then I would highly recommend this great house on the Yellowstone River.

Amazing location and thoughtful hostess.
Our two families arrived to a gift basket with all the fixin's for s'mores and a bottle of local wine! We were also treated to ingredients to make homemade ice cream and day passes to Chico Hot Springs too!! Our kids were thrilled.
As for the house, you cannot beat the location with fishing access out the back door. The weather was a little chilly and between the gas stove in the living room and the fire-pit outside, we had plenty of cozy time. The house was remarkably clean, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the beds were comfy.
Thank you for everything Megan, we will be back!

Vacationing in Paradise
Although I have made the trip to MT many times before I have never experienced all it has to offer from such a perfect location and home. The house itself was beautiful and decorated in a modern cabin décor. The house was very comfortable and luxurious, especially the beds! We felt right at home. Being so close to the river was amazing! We saw fox, deer, bald eagles, and so much more. Everything about the area was breathtaking. The house far exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to visit again soon.

Beautiful Vacation Rental!!
This was my first vacation to Montana with my best friends- We were so pleased with this vacation rental. Wonderfully located right off the Yellowstone River. I loved opening up the windows at night to hear the sound of the water and the birds! As you can tell from the pictures this rental is beautifully decorated and kept very clean. Everything we needed was in the rental and readily available for our use. Megan was more then happy to assist us with our vacation planning and was extremely accommodating to any of our needs. I will definitely be returning to vacation here and will be sharing the Rivers Edge Rental with all my friends and family. Thank you Truzinski family for providing the perfect vacation!
