Pacific Heights Condo Rental Photos and Description
Condo, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 5)

This beautiful Victorian flat located in an extremely desirable location is a wonderful home base for a family or small group. After a day out in the city you will return to a well-decorated, peaceful place, with architecture from another era and all the conveniences of a contemporary home.

Well known Fillmore street is only one block away and there are highly rated restaurants, a full service grocery store, cafes, coffee shops, bars, nightclubs, dry cleaners, bakeries, art galleries, internationally known clothing stores, and movie theaters, within a quarter mile/4000 meters.

If you have children or a pet there is a park, recreation center, and a swimming pool two blocks away. You can exercise the dog, watch your children on the playground, and frolic in the newly renovated pool, all in the same afternoon.

The cable cars, Union Square, Civic Center, Golden Gate Park, the theater district, and the financial district are all a short cab or bus ride away. A fifteen-minute cab ride takes you to the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square and the Alcatraz Island ferry.

The spacious 1500 sq foot/139 sq meter flat has generously proportioned rooms, excellent natural light, nice carpeting and a sensible floor plan. Near the front entrance to the condo are three bedrooms, followed by the bathroom, and then the sunny living room, dining room and kitchen. There is also a laundry room just off the kitchen. The large back yard with patio is accessible from the living room.

Bedroom one has a queen size bed, two large closets, and is set up well for a couple. Bedroom two has a set of bunk beds, a closet, and a big chest of drawers. Bedroom three has a single bed and a walk-in closet.

The split bathroom, with a separate water closet, plus a stall shower and claw foot tub is more efficient than a one room bathroom.

At the rear of the flat is a well equipped eat-in kitchen; a dining room with a table that seats eight; and a living room with a large LED TV, video game console, and stereo system.

Great for Stay in San Francisco

Our family stayed for 6 nights over Christmas 2012 and had a great time. The house is in a good location and was more than comfortable for a family of four staying in San Francisco. The owner was kind enough to arrange a temporary parking permit prior to our arrival which made it easy to park nearby during our stay. The house was a welcome break from hotels given the nice sized bedrooms, separate lounge, formal dining and breakfast areas which allowed us space to spread out.
There were plenty of shops nearby for basics (eg supermarket, chemist) as well as several restaurants and fashionable boutiques minutes away on Phillimore Street. The house was also nice and quiet. I would reccomend this house without hesitation, it was ideal for us!

Our stay was so great! We have three young children and this flat was sooooo much better than a hotel. Having bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, and laundry facilities made our trip much less stressful. We did a lot of "touristy" things so staying in a neighborhood gave us a very small taste of what life in San Francisco is like. We never used our car in the city. We parked and took public transportation everywhere. There is a small grocery and drug store within a couple blocks which was really handy for picking up things we needed. Pay attention to the street cleaning times or else you'll get a ticket (we learned the hard way). Colin was a great host and very flexible about the arrangements. We were very comfortable here and sad to leave.

Our family of five (2 adults, 3 teens), were very comfortable in this well appointed and spacious home. The character home's details were a wonderful plus and the location was excellent as a home-base after exploring the city. Lots of great restaurants nearby, a couple of grocery stores a few blocks away, a Walgreens down the block, and bus transportation was conveniently located. The owner was very obliging in answering my many questions in advance of our arrival, which certainly helped make our travel planning go very smoothly.

My husband & I & our 4 children - 4, 4, 14, 19 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Colin's home. Colin met us at his home with the keys for our week's stay. His home had everything we needed & wanted and was very comfortable & clean. We had a wonderful backyard to sit, eat and enjoy!
It is in an excellent location to catch just about every bus you would need to get around the city. The street itself wasn't busy, which was a pleasure. I would strongly recommend this home.
I recommend signing up for Groupon & Living Social for San Francisco about a month before you go. We did and got to experience local dining that we just wouldn't have found otherwise!
Thanks Colin for a wonderful stay!
