Luxury cave house in the village of Goreme, part of the Unesco world heritage site of Cappadocia. Situated in a quiet part of the village surrounded by locals still enjoying a traditional way of life. 5 minutes walk to the village centre which has local amenities such as small convenience shops, baker, butcher, pharmacies and many restaurants. The house is built around a courtyard and has further outside space on 2 terraces which have stunning views of the fairy chimneys. 1 is used as an outside eating area with barbecue. 2 double bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms. A further family suite comprising large double bedroom, twin room, lounge and family shower room with double shower. Fully equipped Dining Kitchen with fridge freezer and oven with gas hob. Lounge with large traditional sedir seating, chairs and feature cappadocian fireplace. Utility room with washing machine. Central heating for the colder months. Air-conditioning not required due to the natural atmosphere of the caves.
Please note that the Family suite, Stable bedroom and Blue room bedroom are all accessed seperately from the courtyard meaning family members have privacy from each other. It does however mean that some bedrooms may not be suitable for unsupervised occupancy by smaller children.
We are a family living in the North of Scotland - we love the complete contrast that Cappadocia has to our normal life.
The traditional cave houses of Cappadocia are amazing. If you visit the area you MUST stay in one! This house was derelict when we purchased it so we spent a considerable period of time restoring it using traditional techniques whilst adding the luxury of modern conveniences. We believe we have produced a unique home which not only provides a place to rest and relax but an experience you will never forget!
A beautiful cave house right in the heart of the National Park - you are right at the centre of the magnificent landscape. Plus you have all the conveniences of Goreme on your doorstep should you wish to use them.
