This is my second home. The main level is open and airy with 11 foot ceilings. The formal living room and dining rooms are not furnished. The kitchen and family room are modernly furnished and comfortable though not extravagant. It has a large porch with ceiling fans. All bedrooms are upstairs, please keep this in mind. This house is not wheel chair accessible. The master bedroom has a walk-in shower. Two of the bedrooms have king size beds, the third has two queen size beds. All bedrooms have private baths. There is one couch upstairs which has a fold out bed. The master bedroom has a tv. In the family room, there is a large flatscreen tv. This house will sleep 8 comfortably and 10 if two don't mind sharing the sleeper sofa. It has a driveway so parking is off the street. Sorry, will not rent to college students, no exceptions.

I am a physician and enjoy traveling with my wife and children. I grew up in the country near Oxford. I went to Ole Miss and love sharing Oxford with visitors. For those of you who aren't familiar with Oxford, it is one of 2007 Money Magazine's 100 Best Places to Live and one of 2008 Outside Magazine's 20 Best Small Towns in America I work in Oxford but live in a nearby city. We use the house in Oxford especially for events in or near Oxford and Ole Miss.
This house is located on a quiet street, just off the Square (2-4 minutes walk depending on your pace) and is easy walking distance to Ole Miss and William Faulkner's home. It is in easy walking distance (most are within 2 blocks) to the best restaurants, nightlife, and shopping in town. There is a nice coffee shop one block away and a bakery on the square among others. There is a nearby walking and biking trail which can take you to the Ole Miss campus. If you want to stay in Oxford, this is the spot.
