We stayed at the property for 2 nights. Everything was great, someone met with us at the agreed upon time, all 3 bedrooms were well appointed and everyone was comfortable. The small kitchen had abundant pots, pans, plates, glasses and cutlery. Lots of towels and clean. Most of the sites we went to see were within a 30 minute walk (we just parked our vehicles for the weekend) and there are lots of buses going by. We will be back.

My friends from Europe had never been to Ottawa, so we drove up from Montreal for a weekend. We rented this 3 bedroom condo, and it was a great choice! The location is a short walk to the Byward market, the liquor store, 24 hour grocery store, Parliament hill and the Rideau canal. This place was really, really clean (I thought my home was clean but this place put me to shame!) and the furniture and colours are funky and fun. We really appreciated the kitchen because it included things like spices, some canned goods, pasta, rice and so on, to prepare a few meals. We didn't eat all our meals there because there were so many restaurants really close by and we were out most of the day and night. We highly recommend this condo for anyone traveling to Ottawa, especially in a bigger group, and Catherine and her team were great to deal with. Oh! And thank you for the books, magazines, games, quizzes, puzzles, etc. I am looking forward to put my bags down in the ''Queen's bedroom'' next time I rent this lovely place! x

The apartment is very conveniently located for almost all of the Winterlude activities. The Byward Market with its large selection of restuarants is only a 5 – 10 minute walk away. Whislt the Rideau Canal and Parliament Hill are a further 5 minute walk. Also within walking distance are the Art Museum and Mint. The Museum of Civilation in Gatineau Quebec is only a short cab ride away.
The apartment’s modern décor within the older building give it a quaint charm and it lived up to the expectations of the photographs and the very accurate description on VRBO, with the added bonus of a high definintion TV over the fireplace in the living room. The whole apartment is nicely decorated and has a clean pristine look. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are crisp and clean. The kitchen and dining room were well stocked with everything you might need and more.
Everything you think you might need are within a 5 minute walk or closer. There are a number of take out restuarants. The Thai Take Out across the road was particularly good. There are two major grocery chains, a very large LCBO with an extensive Vinatages section on the lower level and a Shoppers Drug Mart.
It was a pleasure to deal with the owner and everything was made very easy for both our arrival and departure. Plus there was an detailed binder letting you know any key information you might need to know.
What more can I say – perfect location, for a perfect weekend, in the nations capital to enjoy Winterlude . I will most certainly use this location again when I come back to Ottawa and have already recommended it to friends.

This was the best option I could find in Ottawa to accommodate our large group of six adults and two young children (1 and 3). The three queen beds in separate rooms were great and there was room for the two portable beds (which we brought with us) for the kids in the room with their parents. There was a small stroller and some toys provided. Their room was separated from the other two by the bathroom, so the kids did not wake others when they woke in the night. Even though the building is on a busy street, the bedrooms were quiet. The very small kitchen and living/dining room are on opposite ends of the unit which was a bit inconvenient but still workable. The towels were abundant and very soft. Catherine is presently managing from a distance, but responded quickly to all my emails and was open to my suggestions for improvements which she promised to put in place right away (such as dealing with the internet cutting out, redoing locks, light weight blankets available to complement the duvets, hooks for clothing in bathroom...). The place was generally clean though I pointed out some small areas of improvement which Catherine said she would have attended to in the future. It is apparently a relatively new property for her and they are still working on improvements. She arranged to have a personal item we left behind mailed to us. In spite of some small glitches, I felt very good about my interactions with Catherine and our stay. The location was excellent, and I don't believe I could have found anything else more suitable for our stay. We did have to pay for parking and carry our belongings some distance as there is no parking in front of the building during business/traffic hours...not a major problem for us, but might be for some. It is located in a commercial area, but is a short walk to areas of old homes, embassies, and a lovely park on the river.

This property was a great option for three of us attending a conference. The rooms were comfortable, nicely decorated and everything was provided to make our stay very comfortable. We were within walking distance to everything we needed. Even on a really snowy night we had a nice walk to get groceries and a bottle of wine. I would highly recommend this property - it delivered as promised!

Condo is located near downtown convenient to Bytown Market, where there are lots of restaurants, Rideau bakery and grocery stores. Busy road- on bus route. Well appointed and very clean with lots of electronic gadgets: tvs and games in each of the bedrooms. Nice to have a dining room/living where we could entertain. Vast amount of china, glassware, and cutlery. Also quiet dishwasher ,washing and drying machines. Not much storage or workspace in Kitchen but understand they are revamping the kitchen over the winter. Owner very eager to help. Recommend to group of friends /relatives. We recommend the sausage shop in the market! Also Strathcona Park on Range Road for a nice walk by the Rideau River.

We came to know of this condo because our son had stayed at another unit owned by the same couple, and he loved it, so we were sure that we would be in good hands. Our hunch was right!

The condo lacked for nothing. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and dining room were well stocked with everything we needed. We had guests for dinner while we were there and it was great to have the glassware, barware, china, pots, pans and kitchen appliances and utensils, available for our use.

The en-suite washer and dryer came in handy and was appreciated.

The high definition TVs and PS3s in the three bedrooms are all brand new and work great.

The condo is very conveniently located for any downtown activity, whether that's shopping in the Byward Market or the Rideau Centre, or taking in the National Art Gallery, or touring Parliament Hill. The immediate neighbourhood around the condo has a lot of charm (a lot of embassies, and a number of restaurants with cuisines from around the world) and convenience (two 24-hour supermarkets are very close by, as is a very good little private-operated wine store that is open until 11:00 pm).

We had our vehicle with us, but we often left it parked and just walked to our destinations. We noticed that the bus service is quite frequent and that cabs are plentiful in this area of Ottawa.

Everyone we dealt with for this rental was very friendly and helpful. They made us feel right at home.
In short, this was a good deal- it was well priced and was everything it promised to be.

We will be back again.
