This condo is a very special place, it´s even more bright, big and openspaced than the pictures show. This windowed ocean front side, even with a lanai offers a unbelievable spectacular view of the sea while dining, lying in the comfortable bed, or sitting in the living area. We had such a great time waking up by the most beautiful sunrise being able to watch it from bed. It is nice to have a beach just a few steps down, even though you should use bathing shoes. You can easily walk to Anahola Bay, there is enough sand to have an easy entrance. We choosed Anahola because we heard of this wonderful spirit of the town, the book "mystical Anahola" , that was offered in the condo helped alot to get an idea what this is all about, besides feeling it definitely. We found several Heiaus around and saw the Hole in the mountain. Thank you Alex and Bel, that you are helping people making wonderful experiences. Hopefully some time again.

This was an excellent place to base our Kauai vacation from. The view from the lanai or even indoors is terrific. Sleeping with the sounds of the ocean and cooling onshore breeze is a perfect way to recharge after a day of exploring Kauai. Staying here on the beach allowed for walking and snorkeling which are added bonuses. This place was perfect for us, and thanks to the owners for their hospitality and providing this opportunity.

We just arrived home from our stay at Alex and Bel's in Anahola on Kauai. If we were to ever have our own summer place this would be it. It is the whole top of a house with it's own private entry. It is quite literally "on the beach", with nothing between you and the water. The whole front of the house is glass, so we were able to lay in bed with our coffee in the morning and see nothing but ocean. The beach is right outside, you look down on it from your balcony. Great for strolling, beach combing, and snorkeling. Very quiet area, no traffic and a lazy rooster who slept in most mornings. This home is well set-up with a washer and dryer, kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Best Wifi we have ever found away from home! Centrally located on the island to go north or south,10 minutes to Kapaa. Bel brought us a bowl of fresh picked oranges one morning that were so sweet and juicy!! We would highly recommend this home as a great place to get away from it all and hope we can be fortunate enough to return one day!!~

Outstanding views and secluded location!

The views from the unit are outstanding!-The balcony almost hangs over the beach, 20' away. We watched whales daily, turtles are about a block to the right. You can snorkel and walk on the beach right outside the door.
The owners were extremely friendly, left us cookies and mac nuts on arrival and brought us fresh Papaya on the last day. We mentioned that there was no direct beach access and they got the gardener to build steps the next day for immediate access! We will be back!

Beautiful, Relaxing Location and Great Value

You can't get any closer to the ocean without falling in! The views are incredible. The beachhouse is tucked away in a very quiet street, which made it a very peaceful place. It contained everything we needed and everything as represented on the website. The place was clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, and it was great to fall asleep to the sound of the surf. It was cool and very windy while we were there, so we really didn't get to enjoy the beautiful back porch much. The owners were very hospitable. I would love to give this place a five-star rating, but there were some electrical things that didn't work while we were there, including the outlet in the bathroom. The owner was kind enough to lend us a large mirror, which we set up on the desk of the kitchen, turning it into a vanity, which worked just fine. We remember our stay there fondly, and would stay there again on our next visit to Kaui.

Amazing vacation site

We arrived late at night and the sound of the waves on the beach were a prelude to the wonderful surprise when we awoke! The view was amazing, you can literally raise your head from your pillow and see the ocean. There are windows all around, and fantastic ventilation to enjoy the breezes from any direction. We never closed the sliding glass door. The studio was clean and neat, with extras you don't usually find in a rental. There were lots of towels, extra linens, a full sized washer and dryer, paper towels and plenty of TP provided. We were blessed to meet the owner and he was very gracious. We would certainly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a striking, peaceful, beautiful stretch of uncrowded beach. Being off the main road and down a quiet little road was a great plus. Plenty of reef for snorkeling, and we were able to watch the whales from the lanai! We had searched for the perfect, quiet place away from the crowds to celebrate our anniversary, and we found it and are already making plans to go back. It was everything the description and pictures indicated. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Killer Sunrises!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our time at this wonderful little bungalow. For the price, it is hard to imagine something this well located. Right on the beach! Snorkeled right in front of the house and had a great time. It needs a little maintenance, but nothing significant. And the sunrises on the balcony are to die for. If you're looking for a very reasonable, out-of-the-way location where you can hear the waves and see them at all times (24/7) this is your spot. Enjoy!

Relaxing true Hawaiian retreat

What a great place! The photos don' t do the house justice. My wife was speechless as to the beauty of the views. We ate in using the BBQ because you couldn't have a table with a location like this. The sounds of the ocean was very relaxing and any stress you might have had just melts away. We snorkeled right outside the house and saw a great variety of fish. The farmers markets were very interesting and finding locally grown products, fruits and fresh fish added to the total experience.

Most relaxing place on earth...AND AFFORDABLE!

I cannot say enough about this place. The owners were easy to work with, called us when we got in to make sure everything was okay, they even left us a couple boxes of local cookies(amazing btw) and a can of Mac nuts which was so thoughtful! We got in late and those were a perfect snack for us and our 5 year old the next morning. The place is cozy and feels like your home in another world, right on the beach, waves crashing, wind off the ocean, roosters crowing in the yard, it truely is living like a local. Our 5 year old loved being there and wished we never had to leave. The surf got really good the day we left and it looked like snorkeling was the thing to do right in front of the house since others were out there from up the beach Im guessing. This place isn't far from Kapa'a so going to town for groceries, shopping, rentals is only a matter of minutes. Honestly, I can't believe the low price for this place and the accomodations! We will definitely be going back and staying here again because it made our vacation perfect and more relaxing than I thought possible. (I also want to keep it a secret though:)) The weather was beautiful while we visited and the ocean was pristine. Thank you guys so much for offering your home to us affordably!
