Peace and quiet in secluded Texas Hill Country setting but only 10 minutes from all the wonderful resources of the town of Marble Falls, Lake Marble Falls and Lake LBJ. Wonderful family vacation spot. Beautifully furnished with well equipped kitchen and superior propane grill. Great game room with quality pool table and foosball table. 2 extra sleeper sofas in game room and sleeper sofa in living room has a new 5' memory foam mattress making it a comfortable place for up to 12 people. Minutes from Hidden Falls Adventure Park, Camp Balcones and Camp Peniel. Many choices to eat out in Marble Falls and an HEB Grocery Store and Super Walmart for all your food shopping needs. Many local stores and boutiques downtown with several live music venues. Dozens of Texas Hill Country Wineries are in the vicinity and special discounts with Heart of Texas Wine Tours for our guests!

About Owner/Manager

I am an 8th generation Texan and this property has been in my family for some time. This particular house was my grandparents' and my parents' home is about to be listed with VRBO as additional accommodation. I am also in the process of developing the Heart of Texas Ranch on which this property is located into a Winery and Event Center for Weddings, family reunions, celebrations and corporate events.

During my weekend stay at the Texas Hill Country Retreat, I slept in the gameroom on one of the futon beds. The futon bed makes into a queen size bed and is firm, but comfortable. The bathroom is very elegant, with a glass bowl sitting on top of the marble counter for the sink. The sink was a little high for my 5'2" frame, but could easily be remedied with a step stool. These are not complaints, just information for whomever may need to know. I would highly recommend this place for a weekend get-away, a wedding party, or any kind of large weekend get-together. Great experience!

Adorable home in the Hill Country. Would highly recommend for a small group or part of a larger one if renting the nearby big house. Great location to Marble Falls, Wineries and Lake Travis. Wonderful home away from home.

I reviewed the other main home as well, as that is where we spent most of our time with all of our friends for the great "Big Chill" weekend (it was fab!), but this home is where we slept. Oh wow, what a charming, sweet, CLEAN, fresh home! We loved our room with the most comfortable thick mattress and and fresh soft warm bedding. The bathroom we used is a good size, with a great walk in shower (nice HOT shower that I must have!), big vessel sink, and they even leave makeup remover wipes for us girls. The kitchen is open and bright with all the tools you need to cook up just about anything! A big game room with pool table and games was an added bonus! We relaxed a little and watched a movie on the big flat screen T.v. in the living room before we headed back out to the big house to join everyone for dinner. We had absolutely the BEST weekend here, and I would recommend this home to anyone! We loved our gracious hosts, Dale and Kasey! They made us feel so right at home! Everything was perfect! I cant wait to do this again with all my pals!!

This wonderful home was so cozy and comfortable. I went there with a group of friends. We all had a room and fit perfectly! There were games set out for us to play and movies to watch. The kitchen was perfect for our needs and the beds were amazing!! The accommodations were so comfortable that it was truly a great weekend away!! The owners are also so friendly and wonderful!!
