Santa Rosa House Rental Photos and Description
House, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 9 easily)

Attractive & comfortable 2500 sq. foot home right in the heart of Wine Country.

Location, location, location. This home sits between Napa Valley & the beautiful Sonoma Coast making each area you visit a spectacularly beautiful drive, but not an unbearable distance.

Golden Gate Bridge & San Francisco 60 minutes

Valley of the Moon/Sonoma Valley 10 minute, countless wineries

Ledson Winery & Vineyards 6.2 miles

St. Francis Winery & Vineyards 7.3 miles

Hidden Ridge Vineyard 7.5 miles

Paradise Ridge Winery 4.4 miles

Russian River Resort area and amazing canoeing & swimming 20 minutes

Muir Woods 1 hours + 10 minutes

Armstrong Redwoods 39 minutes

Napa Valley only 30 minutes of spectacular driving to get there

Bodega Bay & Doran Park 48 minutes

Jenner & Goat Rock 60 minutes

Annadel State Park & amazing hiking, amazing mountain biking, fishing & swimming, Spring Lake Regional Park with gentle hike/walks around an inspirational lake that has canoeing & Howarth Park an outstanding park that caters to younger children that has a train, amazing childrens play area & another lake. All 3 parks touch each other and easily access each other.

Doran Park & Sonoma Coast State Park at Salmon Creek are another unique and wonderful aspect of the magnificent Sonoma Coast. The Sonoma Coast is powerful & threatening most of the time & Doran Park provides a reasonably safe beach area for younger children with Caribbean types of waves as it is protected by Bodega Bay from the powerful surf that comes in from the Pacific Ocean. Sonoma Coast State Park at Salmon Creek has a unique beach that has wonderful sand dunes for the adventurous to explore all day long.

All this is why this home is unique for a trip to wine country.

Do not underestimate the wonderful winter weather at the Sonoma Coast. This is one of those 'local' secrets that the fall, winter & spring weather at the coast is actually quite nice & more appealing than the summer weather.

If you do not want to drive anywhere, literally across the street is Upper Brush Creek Regional Park. This is a stone throw from this home and it provides 5 acres of undeveloped park with oaks & personal solitude for a invigorating walk in the morning.

There is a dog (border collie) on the property. IF you have anyone in your party that is extremely allergic to dogs my property is not what you need. The dog spends an occasional night in the home.

I like my dog. I like my friends. I like my children. I like my grandchildren. I like where I live. I like people. I like my work.

The Owner purchased this house in 2000

I always dreamed of living in Northern California because of the its incredible beauty & amazing weather.

I enjoy gardening and have a wonderful & unique greenhouse, along with raised beds that I enjoy growing my own beets, turnips, cilantro, basil etc...

I love volley ball and the yard is 3500 sq. ft. so we keep a volleyball net up all the time that can be quickly removed. On Saturday mornings @ 11 am there is an Ultimate Frisbee club that meets 2 minutes away @ the north end of Montecito Park.

We had a wonderful family vacation at this home. It is beautiful and very spacious! The kitchen + living area + pool table section are open and allowed for great family gatherings. Most of the house is hardwood floors and it is all single story - which made it easy on my elderly relatives (wheelchair friendly). The backyard is nice - and has patio seating as well as a large field for volleyball, soccer, kid's play. There is also a friendly caretaker who you can contact if any issues with the house. He also shows you how to use the house once you arrive, so you aren't left guessing what switches / locks do what. Lastly, the house is perfect for those looking for a getaway but still wanting to enjoy the convenience of sonoma / napa - particularly the wineries. Thank you again for our wonderful stay!

I traveled here with 4 other people in July. We were doing the Vineman Triathlon and this house was the PERFECT central location for all our activities. We enjoyed the comfort of all the rooms as well as the hospitality of the caretaker and owner. Plenty of room for WAY more people than we had, but it was also perfect for us. The well-kept gardens were nice to sit out by in the evenings. My husband and I both agreed that upon returning to this area, we would LOVE to stay here again.

My family and I stayed at this home and it had all the necessities we needed. It was great for kids and my one family member who has ASL. The layout was great for family to socialize comfortably while doing several things. The adults could play pool while the kidos watched tv and played in the family room. The backyard was great for playing.. And the location was great because we could do a one day travel to the Armstrong Redwoods, visit a winery, see the beautiful Sonoma Coast Beach and Pacific Ocean, and eat in Bodega Bay at one of the great seafood restaurants. It was a great pleasure for my family who was visiting from the East Coast. The owner and care taker were great people and a great help during our stay.
