There are a multitude of sea sports in the area including a diving school and sailing school in Villefranche. There is fishing from the rocks or deep sea fishing, canoeing, water skiing, snorkelling, and sailing. For hill walkers there numerous routes along the coast line, and in the hills around Eze and Menton, all accessible from the bus route to Menton. For the more energetic there are higher walks in the Roya valley region which is an hours train journey from Nice, and up the Var valley to Haut Provence which is a one hour car trip from Nice.

The unique micro climate has facilitated the development of world renowned gardens which are open to the public such as Villa & Jardin Ephrussi de Rothschild on Cap Ferrat, and Villa & Jardin Kerylos in Beaulieu sur Mer, both within walking distance. There are additional renowned gardens in the area of Menton.
There is a wonderful monastry to visit at La Turbie and a beautiful small church on Cap Ferrat.
