Our family of 4 adults had a great time. I have rented a number of beach homes over the years. This one rates at the top. The owners are so generous to share their many "toys", which we took full advantage of: bikes, kayaks, beach toys, etc. And my personal favorite, beautiful kites that are a "breeze" to fly. The house and beach are as beautiful as pictured. The Carillon Community is clean, friendly, and safe. This vacation was a welcome getaway from our Northern winter.

Three Words: A-Maz-ing

Ok, so my 3 words description was only one word but I really wanted to emphasize the word "AMAZING". Forget about spending crazy amount of money trying to leave the country when you can have the best time without breaking the bank. I took my wife on our honeymoon to Ambition. It was so beautiful. My wife and I loved it. My wife could not get over how awesome it was. There is nothing lacking at the Ambition house. You literally have everything you need. Rooms, tvs, washer/dryer, kitchen, balconies (view from the balcony looking at the ocean...sweet), bikes (lots of them), canoe, water toys for kids and grown ups, etc. The owners of Ambition literally do not allow you to be lacking in anything you need when it comes to hospitality and comfort. Ambition is a house for any couple, any family or friends just to get away for whatever occasion. The Carillon Beach community is so quiet, private, and friendly. Everyone we encountered was awesome. Great little down town area for shops and food. Plus you have everything else that Panama City has to offer. But we were happy most of the time just relaxing at the house and at the beautiful, white, soft sandy beaches. I definitely recommend Ambition in Carillon Beach to anybody looking for a great time. Sorry if I am not a very good review writer. I am usually not the person to be writing reviews at all but I felt it was a must for this particular situation because me and my wife loved it so much that I had to share it with others. Ambition Was A Dream Come True

Sometime you stay at a place that is just perfect - Ambition is that place. There is not one negative thing to say about this beautiful home. It was very obvious that these owners had thought out every detail of what their guest would need. The property was described accurately and the photos just don't do it justice. Our family loved the view from the living area. Being able to sit on the porch and enjoy looking at the beach and hearing the sounds of the water was a big plus. The numerous bikes and toys were enjoyed by all. We loved the kayaks. Even the little ones went out. The only problem with having the kayaks is that now my husband thinks we need to get one. Almost forgot one of the most important things. The owners were so easy to work with in renting the property even going so far as to check in on us by phone during our stay to make sure everything was o.k. The local property manger even came to the hosue to make sure we had everything we needed and to make sure we did not have any questions. Even the housekeeper called. How unusual is that? I have never experienced such great service. I could ramble on and on but let me just say this: This house will make your vacation a DREAM come true!

Best beach house ever

My family and I decided to try a different beach house from the one we had stayed at for the past several years as it had become "dated" and tired feeling. We rented Ambition in Carillon Beach. What a great choice! This house feels light and airy with beautiful wood flooring, comfy furnishings, flat screen televisions in every room and no shortage of homey touches. The owners seem to have spared no expense or attention to detail to create a comfy beach house.
I am a nut about a comfortable bed and these were amazing. Rich bedding and very comfy mattresses can make a world of difference to my disposition. I woke up so rested every day. We had an abundance of bath towels and beach towels so we did not have to wash every day. Yes, there is a washer and dryer. The owner even provided laundry soap which was a first for me on a rental!
In past beach rentals, the kitchen supplies have felt sparse and cheap. At AMBITION I loved that I could cook up a family feast without running out of pots and pans. They were high quality and led me to believe the owner must be a good cook too.
For us, one of the best things was that we had full access to the owners' kayaks, kids bikes (I think there were 5), adult bikes and a bicycle built for two. There was a canopy tent for sun protection for the beach that we could use too. Even the outdoor shower had hot water! The balcony provides a clear view of the sugary sand beaches. There are balconies on each level with comfy seating. There is nothing like a cup of coffee (Keurig :))while listening to the sounds of the ocean.
The owner was even kind enough to recommend her favorite restaurant, The Terrace. Don't miss the coconut cake.
We have reserved Ambition for two weeks next year with no concerns about what we are getting. We have rented beach houses many times and by far, this one made me feel as if I was borrowing the home of a close friend. Thank you to the owners for being so easy to work with and putting up with all of my questions before we arrived. Until May we will enjoy the after glow of a great family trip.

Thanks Tisha and Bill for letting us stay in your wonderful beach house. Ambition had everything we needed and more. The extra amenties like the kayaks and bikes were definitely a bonus. There are a lot of steps in this house so be ready to use your legs alot. There was very nice furnishings at this house. The gated community made us feel more comfortable too. We left 2 days early due to Hurricane Isaac but we can't wait to return again next year. Our deposit was returned promptly. God Bless!

STOP RIGHT HERE if you are looking for a PERFECT VACATION HOME..Our family from Va and Tenn spent two(2) weeks @ Ambition this summer May 26-jUNE 2 AND July 28-Aug 4, 2012. It is without a doubt the most beautifully situated, decorated and provisioned home in ALL of Florida. There is nothing you could ask for that is not provided + the owners are so easily to book with and so attentive that you have every single thing you need. A delightful house manger meets and greets you and is at your beckon call..There are bicycles and helments for all ages. Ambition is located between 2 beautiful pools. It has 3 large comfortablably furnished decks(porches). All the appiiances are first class. The bathrooms are immaculate and toys galore for the children. We could view the bay and at night we enjoyed viewing the lake and the beautifully decorated common area strung with a zillion white lights. This area is secure being a gated community and during the day security visits the pools each half hour. Monday night a band plays free on the green and a blanket and/or a chair make for cozy time for all quests. Our family had vacationed at another property in Carrillon for three years before we spotted this Castle located one house but only 50 steps from the beach. .And what a beach it is with it's pure white sand with lounge chairs with cushions and unbrellas waiting for you each day. We could have stayed all summer it was so comfortable. One does have to negotiate steps since there a 3 floors but going up steps builds character and burns calories (both Winn Dixie and Publix are one block away).

One AMAZING vacation!

I read many of the reviews before our vacation and honestly I don't think I can say anything that has not already been said. It is very obvious the Stenders put their heart and souls into this beach house. Because of the incredible detail involved in every aspect, it is clear they want everyone to experience the joy that they themselves experience as a family when they are there. That being said, I can honestly say we did! Thank you Bill and Tisha! Here are my thoughts on Ambition:
Our recent stay at Ambition was absolutely AMAZING! It was our first vacation to that area of Florida. I can't say we want to visit any others now, or stay anywhere else but Ambition, it was truly wonderful! The owners definitely went above and beyond on luxury and amenities. The house is elegantly beautiful yet very inviting! Every room is furnished with everything you could possibly need. All we had to provide was our personal items, food and fun! And actually the Stenders provided the fun as well! With a room full of beach toys and the beach just a few steps away, a very fun time was had by all, everyday! They also have a garage full of bikes of every size. We really enjoyed our evening bike rides and even attended a concert in the park we just happened to ride by!
The most used amenity of the week had to be the outdoor shower! The kids thought it was the best and I loved that they weren't tracking all that sand into the house! BRILLIANT!!! My personal favorite was the balconies. I found myself out there every morning, enjoying my coffee and relaxing to the sights and sounds of the beautiful ocean waves! Thank you for a wonderful week!

A Big Slice of Heaven

Ambition is exactly what you see in the video and pictures plus more. It exceeded our expectations with an immediate ability to lay back, relax and know everything was at your finger tips. It was so clean, beautifully decorated, with every untensil you would need even advanced cookware. The beds were so comfortable that sleeping was extrememly peaceful, from the decks, the view of the ocean breath taking, the beach chairs available for four and just a few steps from the house. That's right you can just walk on the beach straight from the house, all the sports equipment anyone could ask for, the towels were so fresh, flat screens in every room,the kids room is darling with their own porch as well, space and more space and lots of privacy. You are so close you can hear the waves at night. We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. We recommend it to everyone and you will never look at another vacation the same. It is the perfection of all stays.

Best Family Beach Vacation

This was our first family trip to Carillon beach. We had such a wonderful time. We highly recommend staying at Ambition. The memories my family will have from here will be priceless. Words can’t even describe how wonderful it is! The house is so close to the beach. My 6 and 4 year old could run from the house to the beach in seconds. They have their own private beach chairs so cushions and umbrellas are brought out and picked up every day. We didn't have to do a thing! We left all our beach toys out there every night. It was nice not having to bring them back to the house every day. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off from the beach which was great. Some days we would walk to the community pool which overlooks the beach. Some days we would ride our bikes (provided by the owners) to the other pool which is heated year round. They have a bartender at that one! The home was absolutely beautiful with all the amenities that we wanted. (washer/dryer, microwave, stove/oven, huge selection of bikes, kayaks, beach toys, etc) The property was so clean when we arrived and was stacked full of beach towels and linens. The children's bedroom had a full size bath and a tv/dvd. The 2 adult bedrooms were located on the same floor with tv's in each room. The beds were so comfortable. Each bedroom had their own full size bath too. The adult bedrooms had their own door to the balcony with a great view of the ocean. We sat out there and ate dinner and just listened to the ocean. It was so peaceful and relaxing. It was so hard to leave Ambition and come back home to reality. We can’t wait to go back.
