A Fantastic Week

Hi Maria
We had a fantastic week, the weather couldn't have been better. Your villa was lovely and was just as you described it (not always the case in my experience...),we really enjoyed all the space that it offered and felt that it was probably the best sited villa on the complex. The complex seemed to be quite empty so we enjoyed the pool as if was exclusivily ours!
The villa was lovely and clean when we arrived and the provisions that were provided were gratefully received.
Mr Bean was fabulous, he seemed a very nice man and was extremely helpful and friendly. As was Huben the taxi driver, we used him several times and indeed he booked our night at Khans tent and of course took us there and back. A fantastic night - thanks for recommending it! The local bus service was good, really cheap and easy to use, even if one aftenoon we manged to end upin the wrong place, upset the conductress and be ordered off the bus! One of our more memorable excursions....it certainly gives us a good laugh now.
I think we used all the restaurants that had been recommended, the Miami at St Vlas was very nice and had a festival feel to it with all the sparklers that seemed to come with the food. Our favourite was probably Fara, my husband had a Bulgarian speciality that was recommended by the waitress and it was geat. Djanny's was probably a close second. We went to the Condor and it was awful, the food was bad and the waiter was one of the most surly i have ever come across. Still one bad expereience out of 7 isn't bad going.... I wrote in the visitors book and mentioned all the restuarants we had visited and what we thought of them.
Thank you for all your help in organising our holiday, it really was great. We had a lovely comfortable villa, hot sunny days to sunbathe, no wonder we came home feeling so relaxed.

The complex makes a great relaxing setting for a very hectic holiday and I will always make sure that my villa is kept in pristine condition because I hate it when I arrive on a holiday, only to find the accomodation below standard -

Montemar villas

HI Maria
We had a superb week and were sorry to leave. You were right about sunny beach as it does get very crowded so it was nice to get back to the peaceful haven of Montemar. The childrens first priority is a nice pool so they were over the moon with it on the doorstep spending most of their time in it.I was impressed with the pool maintenance which was checked and cleaned regularly. the villa is lovely and very comfortable and in a prime position with views of sunnybeach and Nessebar which we enjoyed over a glass of wine in the evenings. Stefan the gardener is a lovely man who was busy most days keeping the grounds neat and tidy and even removing a large toad from the pool which accompanied us in the pool one morning. We did not see much of Mila during our stay though she did approach us on our last day to tell us about the shuttle bus which we thought would have been a nice welcome to greet us with at the start of the holiday. Huben the taxi driver was a real character and a very busy man he gave us lots of tips and info as best as he could in English on the history of sunny beach and Nessebar, when we said goodbye to him his last words were 'next year my english be bigger your bulgarian be small' and he made our holiday with taking us to different locations. Can you thank Martin for our transfers, everything went to plan and thankyou for giving us the pleasure of meeting Shelly and family i just wish we had a longer stay with them. I will e-mail you soon with some photos...

We are back safe and sound. Had a lovely holiday. The villa and complex were exactly as described. The villa certainly has the prime site on the complex and people staying at other villas all wanted to look round your villa and were eally impressed with the added extras. The patio areas were great to have and we made good use of them ,even having a barbeque for 13 one night. Sunny Beach was a bit lively at night for our tastes, but the beach was lovely during the day and having the peace and tranqulity of the villa meant that we had the best of both worlds.

We had a great time - villa wonderful. Mr Bean was excellent, very helpfuland friendly.The lady that cleaned the villa was also very lovely and did a great job. Mila was helpful when we needed her assistance - we would hope to get back next year. The washing machine was a great asset. I hope we left the villa in the good condition as we had found it.

GREAT FOR FAMILIES

Stayed at Villa Clairanna in July 2008. Definately the place to stay during high season as Sunny Beach is very busy and very very noisy all through the night. It is great to lounge around the villa garden and pool area without the `goldfish bowl` feeling......
The complex is spotless with well kept gardens etc. It is a gated community, so young children cannot wander off and more importantly -no-one can wander in from the street. (this happened us down at Sunny Beach last year and it left the residents fighting for sunloungers around the pool)
The villa is very spacious, bright and clean with great outdoor space with large patio hosting barbeque- sunloungers with matresses and umbrella - two patio sets and loads of things for personal use. Even the cleaning products are supplied along with a nice welcome pack. GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL FROM THE OWNER.
The complex runs its own mini-bus service which is perfect. Running from the complex to Sunny Beach, Nessebur and the waterpark.
There is also a very friendly taxi driver named Huben who lives next door. Huben has a special rate for villa guests and he is always available. He is also very helpful and clearly enjoys meeting people from different countries.
Beach is appx 15-20 min walk, with a few bars etc., on the way, but the mini bus will bring you there and back every hour.
We only ever walked as far as The Rio complex (10 min walk) where the owners are English - very friendly and very helpful.
The local village of Korsharitza is the best place to shop for groceries - local bus will bring you there for about 30p. Groceries are much cheaper than down at Sunny Beach, so this is where to stock up. There is also a lovely restaurant called Jolly House there - very cheap and great food. There are of course other typical holiday shops on the doorstep where you can get everthing that you will need at a slightly higher price. The bus journey is only about 6 mins and worth the trip.
I have visited Sunny Beach 4 times in the past, but this has been my best experience - I had a beautiful holiday this time and I will definately return to this villa. The owner was very helpful and our airport transfers where taken care of - everything was very personal and I do not think that anyone would be disappointed with this complex . The standard of accomodation
was well above the typical holiday brochure stuff.
KHANS TENT IS A GREAT NIGHT OUT - Huben arranged it for us and brought us to it.

The villa was spotless and exactly as described inside and out.
We appreciated all of the extras that were made available to us. The children made very good use of the games , toys and dvds etc., too numerous to mention everything, but the kids loved it..... We loved the extra touches that were made available to us all as a family.........

We felt reassured with the huge effort that you made during the booking process and the follow up services of management and airport transfers whilst out there was excellent. Martin was a great help to us on arrival and the complex management was there for us when we needed them, which was not too often.
The information that you provided us with was a big help on planning our activities for the holiday.
We can highly recommend this villa to any family with children of all ages...
