What a retreat!

Beautiful house, comfortably and stylishly furnished. The gigantic yard backs up to trees and a dry creek bed, peaceful and nicely appointed with hammock, ping pong table, grill, lounging area, lawn. Biggest (and pleasant) surprise was the heap of current magazines to flip through; it made the stay feel truly relaxed. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Comments on the Creekside Stay-that is easy;
Waking up in the morning in a comfy bed, making breakfast and eating outside on a lovely patio with pretty and fragrant flowers. Watching birds come and go-hummingbirds, woodpeckers, warblers, and much to our delight a colorful western tanager. There is also a flock of marauding parrots that come by several times a day. Heading to the beach for a long stroll. Whether you prefer watching people or wildlife-there is plenty of both-dolphins (my favorite), seals, surfers, stand-up paddlers abound. Bring your wetsuit or be brave if you plan to swim and play in the waves. We were there in the spring and the air temperatures were mild-not too warm or cold. The house has a warm, cozy feel. It is a relaxing house, not uptight. It has everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable. It is what I call the perfect get-away.

Great Malibu Experience

Our long weekend stay at this house was very enjoyable. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4. It was very comfortable with a beautiful yard and patio area. Jacqui was great. Everything was exactly the way she said it would be. It was a great place to escape from the city. Excellent restaurants within 15 minutes of the property. Easy walk or drive to the beach. We would highly recommend this property.

Fabulous Family Getaway!

My family and friends stayed in this beautiful, creekside home for our first vacation with babies, and it was the perfect setting! The home is even better than pictured with little details to make you even more at home, such as ipod docking stations (already including updated adapters) and loads of magazines to enjoy. My friends even went out and bought the same rug that's in the living room because they liked it so much! And they're considering getting the same grill and dishwasher -- they were perfect for all our dinners in!
Jacqui and Chris were very attentive and helpful from initial inquiry and throughout our stay. We had a few minor issues with one faulty light and the oven, but they were right on top of things and even brought over a bottle of wine and champagne from the owners to make up for the very minor inconveniences.
We would definitely recommend this home away from home and really hope to visit again and again!

Our family was looking for a home in Malibu in which to celebrate Christmas. My husband and I came from Arkansas while our son and his partner who live in LA and our son who lives in New York City met us at this wonderful home in Malibu. The house is beautiful, is decorated to perfection, the kitchen is outfitted perfectly, and I think Gidget may live down the street in this wonderful California setting. I highly recommend this home for anyone wishing to have a wonderful and relaxing vacation with a short walk to the beautiful beach. It's an easy drive to Santa Barbara for the day or into LA for all it has to offer. Great vacation all around. Thanks Jacqui!

My husband and I came for rest and relaxation. What a relaxing laid back weekend I had while staying here. The place definitely has a relaxed beach vibe. My favorite place in the house was the backyard. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The house was so clean, we felt like we were the only ones who had stayed there. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. A beautiful place in a beautiful location would love to go back.

If you're looking for soft sheets and the comforts of home, this is the place for you. This cozy home in the peaceful neighborhood of Malibu West has everything you could need to play or relax outdoors- bikes, ping pong, hammock, boogey boards, and of course the beach. If you'd rather stay indoors- there are 2 large tv's to watch. The private beach is a quick 5 minute walk. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect for my family. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning!

my husband and i live in LA (downtown) but wanted to spend a few days getaway at the beach.
from the moment we entered this home we were head over heels in love with it.
it really is even more lovely than the pictures show.
every detail has been thought of in this home, they have gone above and beyond to make guests want for nothing but more days in this amazing place!
we have rented all over malibu over the past few years, including beachfront homes, and honestly the location of this property in malibu west is our favorite ever because it felt so right, and so "us"
5 minutes walk to shops, coffee, and a sandy beach, as well as the beautiful neighborhood itself (it really is rockwellian) with the lovely tennis courts were just what we urbanites needed to forget the hustle & bustle.
yoga in the garden in the mornings, swimming and sunning on the mostly empty beach, stand up paddleboarding, dolphin and seal watching, surfing.. its all right here... then followed by a run to vital zuman for fresh produce, malibu seafood for a fish, then ending the days with fresh grilled dinner in the garden... our stay was so perfect we extended it by 2 days!
we truly cannot wait to return, we will absolutely be back as often as the wonderful owners will have us!

The photographs truly don't do it justice! It is a 10! The home is perfect for any family to enjoy Malibu living at it's finest. We were lucky to call it our home away from home for two months, and we loved everything about it! The home is appointed with beautiful furnishings, perfect for comfortable, vacation living! The backyard is an entertainers dream - complete with areas for dining, reading, playing and snoozing. There's a BBQ, beautiful gardens, a hammock, lush landscaping, a nice grassy play area and table tennis. We also enjoyed the private beach club, nearby parks and great restaurants.
It truly is a Malibu Dream House!

Absoultely Stunning Property!

What can say?? I recently set up a weekend stay at this property for a girls weekend and it EXCEEDED all of our expectations! The house was gorgeous! You can tell that every last detail had been thought out in the decor and ammenties. The house was spotless and was the perfect place to relax or have a fun night in hanging out inside or enjoying the beautiful weather in the beautifully landscaped backyard.
Jacqui was exceptionally helpful in answering all of my questions and getting the weekend set up for us. She went above and beyond by suggesting things to do in the area and helping us with transportation. She took the time to make sure we were being accomodated and was by far one of the most pleasant and helpful people that I have worked with when searching for vacation rentals.
I would without hestitation recommend this property to a friend or relative. It is the perfect place for a girls weekend, romantic getaway or a family trip.
